Lengthening Mascara

It is a good and simple lengthening mascara with clean ingredients. However, it does not provide very much volume, and doesn't really hold a curl. Unfortunately, I have very oily eyelids, so it smudges a little and irritates my eyes towards the end of the day.

Unfortunately not for me

This product did not work out for me. I found that it did not provide enough length or volume and left me feeling like my lashes didn’t look that different after application. The wand is skinny and has a stiffness to it (perhaps due to the bio fibres listed on the box). The shape of the brush was good for getting close to the root and the lower lashes.

There's better out there

This mascara does the job to be honest but there are definitely better ones out there. It's not clumpy which is a pro but it also takes a lot to really get some volume.

Not the best...

As much as I was excited to try out a new mascara, I found this mascara to be lackluster. It applies well without any clumps, but really only seems to add a bit of darkness to your lashes. It doesn't really seem like it adds much "oomph"...no lift or length... It also didn't seem like it lasted that long. I looked in the mirror after a few hours and it barely looked like I had put on mascara. On the plus side I didn't have dark residue on my eyes after washing my face.... I would maybe suggest it to somebody who wants a very natural, barely there mascara but for me, it would not be my top choice

Good everyday mascara nothing special

The mascara is pretty good at lengthening lashes however does not provide any volume at all. It’s an okay choice if you’re looking for an everyday mascara as the shea butter is moisturizing.

okay drugstore mascara, but not great

This mascara just did not work well for me. I have pretty sparse eyelashes and I feel like it didn’t really add much volume, but made them look more sparse in a way and it I had to add many layers of it too to make my lashes look fuller.

Nothing special with this mascara

Regardless that its vegan and made with more natural ingredients, rimmel is still a brand thats not cruelty free. For my its an aspect really important when I purchase makeup.

Not waterproof

I would have preferred black/brown instead of black. I love that it's all natural. I tend to use waterproof eyeliner, so if that were an option at a good price then I may try in a different colour.

Good for everyday wear

I'm usually partial to mascara that gives a more dramatic look to my lashes and this one is definitely not that but it is super lightweight has a very defined thin wand and would be great for a quick everyday look!

Kind and Free Clean Mascara

I was excited to be selected to try the clean products. However, I was a bit dissapointed with the mascara. I am a religious user of waterproof, smudge free, mascara since I have short and straight lashes. This mascara seemed to lengthen them a little bit... but smudged everywhere.

I recognize that using clean products is important for health and longevity along with their environmental impacts... but hopeful that Rimmel makes some changes going forward. Hoping some new chemists can be added that can figure out an option so it smudged less, has some waterproof properties and is still a clean product.

Not bad.... but I would not be buying this product again unfortunately.
