I bought this product for my parents so they can stream Netflix on their tv. They absolutely love it, and also use it to watch Youtube videos!

I bought the Roku three hoping it would serve as an affordable-space saving streaming option for my bedroom. It has been that and so much more. The Roku 3 remote works through wifi so you don't even have to point it at the tiny box for it to work- that means you can tuck the device away in a cupboard and use it effortlessly. You could take the remote across the house and stick play around with it (not that you would have a reason to). The remote also has a headphone jack that mutes the TV when you plug in headphones; it's perfect for couples. My boyfriend and I don't have to worry about interrupting each other's studying thanks to this handy device. We also love the USB port that lets us watch a few different file formats.

This device has built in apps such as Netflix, Youtube, Vevo, Angry birds, etc. that make it easy to reach the content you are looking for. You can add free and paid apps with the device itself. Private channels/apps can be added with special codes through the online website.

bought it 2 days latter took it back and bought a apple tv much better

We love our Roku! It is small and takes up less room than a remote on our TV stand. It works like Apply TV or even a wii or playstation. it allows us to view our netflix as well as a ton of other channels like Amazon, Blockbuster, RedBox, Disney, UFC...the list is really endless. We can watch tons of TV and movies and even rent TV shows and movies! And its a one time cost, no continued monthly fee!
