These were very similar to jelly fruit slices in terms of flavoured fruit candy coated in a thick layer of large sugar crystals. The sugar shell creates an interesting crunchiness to the otherwise soft jellies. The presence of fruit juice to flavour the sweets did make it more authentic tasting. I do enjoy black current the best. I woruld rather have that than the grape here. (Ugh!)

Coming from someone who usually prefers sour candies, these are not bad.
