It's a nice option

This is a great option to keep fresh produce fresh. I really like mine and the size is just right for berries or salads. However the price is too high for a 'plastic container'. It works great, just wish it was more affordable.

Wow, it works.

First off these aren't cheap, but neither are fruits and veggies, and throwing them out because they rot is not just wasteful, it is expensive. I bought some strawberries a few days before getting this, they already were turning, I knew in two days they would be moldy. I put them in this containter and week later they look great. The tray helps keep the fruit or veg out of any liquid that sweats out, the vent at the top helps circulate air and has a fancy filter to keep them fresh longer.

I am shocked at how well this worked to be honest. I am going to run out and get a big one for my baby spinach, because frankly I am sick of picking slimy leaves out of my mix and having to toss away good produce after a few days.

Surprise par son efficacité

J'ai été très surprise de voir le prix de ce contenant. La qualité du produit est indéniable.
J'y ai mis des raisins frais pour le test et ils sont toujours aussi frais apres plus qu'une semaine. Maintenant, je suis impatiente de me procurer un plus gros format pour y mettre mes légumes frais et ainsi sauver du gaspillage inutile.

Keeps produce fresh!

This is an excellent product. I stored some lettuce in my container and then tried blueberries. Both kept excellent in my #Rubbermaid Freshworks container. This product is slightly pricey but well worth it! I however, #gotitfree from @ChickAdvisor but plan on purchasing the larger sizes as I do believe this product delivers!!!

Rubbermaid Freshworks keeps it real and fresh!

I received the medium sized container to try and was not sure what to expect as the container seemed quite simple like many of my others but with a grade for the bottom and a air flow on the lid.

I always have had problems keeping strawberries fresh without going mouldy and shrivelled in the fridge after two to three days. I tried both washing the strawberries and pat drying them with paper towel and placing in the container and also washing them and putting them straight in the container without drying.

After five days both batches looked just as fresh as when I purchased them. So happy to skip the pat dry step!

The medium sized product that I received was $14.99 which is a little highly priced. Albeit the container is quite thick and sturdy not flimsy at all. But the next size up is only $3 more so I would purchase the larger container as it seems like more value for your money.

Garde la fraicheur des fruits et légumes plus longtemps

Étant une personne qui coupe d'avance mes fruits et légumes pour la semaine, j'étais bien curieuse d'essayer les contenants freshworks de Rubbermaid. Après 6 jours mes fraises étaient toujours fraiches (texture et goût étaient encore parfait). Le prix des contenants peut paraitre élevé au départ mais cela vaut vraiment la peine étant donné qu'on conserve ses aliments beaucoup plus longtemps qu'avec un contenant ordinaire. #cadeau

Keeps fruits and vegetables fresh!

I have been using Rubbermaid containers ever since I was young. When I found out that I was going to try Rubbermaid's FreshWorks Produce saver, I was really excited! For this review, I cut up a whole romaine lettuce head and put half of it in the produce saver container and half in the bag that it came with. After a little over 1 week I noticed a difference. The ones in the Rubbermaid container stayed green and looked fresh while the ones in the bag started to turn yellow and brown. Overall, with its advanced features, I found that this product is amazing for keeping fruits and vegetables longer. However, I think that this product is a little pricey on its own (~$12). I rather buy the complete set with the different sizes (small, medium and large)(~$30). The container is easy to clean, has a clear bottom part to see the produce and easy to stack with other containers in the fridge. I would still recommend this product to those who are looking for ways to keep their produce longer and fresher. #gotitfree

Expected better

At first I was really excited about this concept. However reading the instructions I found it more of a gimick. It claims to make product last longer if it is not washed or cut. Well, that goes withput saying! However I would only store prepared items in a container. It also claims that produce is fresher if it's used quickly. lol, well that is a given.
So I made a large salad. I put some in this container and the rest in a bowl with plastic wrap (with a few toothpick holes). To my surprise the product in the container spoiled more quickly.

Great produce keeper.

I was quite unsure whether this was a marketing gimmick for just another storage container but I was wrong.
We have had problems keeping our strawberries, blueberries and raspberries fresh without going mouldy in the fridge after two to three days.
After five days they looked just as fresh as when we purchased them. I tend to mix these berries together in a container as I like to top them off on my yogurt or granola in the morning.
The one claim that Rubbermaid made was that this was dishwasher safe. We all know what happens to plastic in the dishwasher, not an issue.
The medium sized product that I received was $14.99 a little high priced but I will be purchasing another one and the larger container as well.

Definatly need more of these.

When I first heard about Rubbermaid FreshWorks Produce Saver I was skeptical. I have heard of a ton of products that claim to do the same but with disappointment they never work. So I was dying to try this out. I received the medium sized container #gotitfree. I used it for my Apples and fruit salad mix. I noticed that the fruit continued to look and taste fresh through out the week, helping me to save time and money.
