I really, really hate it when I buy a product (that is $10 or more) that SEEMS like it's going to be awesome, and then it fails miserably at what it is supposed to do. Hate it! This is the story of Sally Hershberger's Wreck and Roll Texturizing Gel.

I have short hair that I am trying to grow out. Because of this, the thicker products I used when my hair was super short are too thick and oily, and a normal gel is too light. This product seemed perfect! It promised to "mess, mold and shape" normal to thin hair (like mine), but with a lighter consistency.

It did not "mess, mold and shape." Instead, it made my hair feel downright powdery (ew!) and look limp, flat and straight. I can't even imagine using this on long hair, mostly because of how it makes my hair feel.

On the other hand, it smells great.
