OK deodorant

I like that it’s made with natural ingredients, but sadly, it was not a winner in my book. It left very tiny white specks on my (dark) clothes, and felt wet and sticky upon application (the feeling did slowly disappear as it dried, though). The scent is very strong and wafts around, clashes with my perfume and can be irritating to those sensitive to fragrance. It does a good job of deodorizing and the effect lasts, but I won’t be purchasing.

Very decent option for a natural deodorant

I was given this product to test for 2 weeks by ChickAdvisor.

First thing I noticed: the lavender-sage scent is extremely strong! Having said that I've noticed that it also faded within hours of application? This could be a disappointment or a positive depending on your sensitivity to odors; I was underwhelmed by how quickly the scent faded but on the other hand I also didn't seem to smell bad for the rest of the day! So i guess in that sense it does work decently as a deodorant.

As for the application it was a bit annoying having to wait for the bar to "warm up" against our skin otherwise it wouldn't apply smoothly and/or properly. It also leaves a bit of a film on my skin at the end of the day that's slightly hard to wash off.

Now having said all that, all in all I think it's a decent option if you're looking for a natural, safe deodorant.

Lovely smell however would not purchase

First of all READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. I figured that I knew how to use deodorant but I guess not haha. Direction explain that you have to hold the stick against your pit first to warm and soften it- and apply only a little . I was using it as I regularly do and there were big chunks coming off . When used as directed it worked better but still some small chunks coming off on my Pits. The first two times I used it , my pits became a tad bit sore but after the third use it was fine. The smell is amazing, def loved that part of it. The smell is strong at first, which I enjoyed, and it faded as the day went on. It kept me feeling confident and fresh throughout the day. However the reason I would not recommend is because of the texture

Not for me

I received this all natural deodorant to try out. Im not a big fan of the lavender/sage scent and the scent is quiet strong when you apply it but it fades throughout the day. Maybe if I have received another scent I would have liked it better. I felt like it wasnt so effective and long lasting so I had to reapply more than once throughout the day. After a week of using it I noticed a rash and discolouration on my underarms and once I stopped using it, it went away. I really wanted to like this product but sadly It did not work for me.

I couldn’t get past the smell

I could not get past the smell on this product and therefore only used it a few times. In my opinion the smell is too strong for a deodorant and it lingers the entire time you are wearing it. Deodorant should help mask the smell of body odour to a point but it is not meant to take the place of a perfume. As I don’t wear perfumes, it was too strong for me and the few times I tried to wear it I ended up wiping it off. You also have to warm the product up on your hand before application so it’s not really good for a product to carry around with you and apply when you feel you need it. The texture did otherwise seem nice and it was your average sized deodorant stick. I also liked that it is an all natural product as I do try to be cautious of what I am putting on my body. I’m sure it would do a good just masking smells but it is so strong but it was definitely not for me. I’d rather know the product is doing a little more than just masking the smell of my sweat.

Bien mais pas pour l'activité physique

J'ai essayée ce produit pendant 2 semaines tel que recommandé. Tout d'abord l'odeur est juste wow mais il ne faut pas porter de parfum en plus puisque l'odeur est très prononcée.
Pour une utilisation de tous les jours c'est très bien. Je vais au gym 3 fois semaine et j'ai du en réappliquer avant de m'entrainer puisque la première fois ça n'avait pas été efficace. De plus faire attention aux peaux sensibles l'application après rasage peux brûler. En gros je rachèterai ce produit et le recommanderais mais pour utilisation de tous les jours seulement.

Mineral enriched natural deodorant

I received Schmidt's lavender+sage from chickadvisor to review. The first thing I appreciated about this natural deodorant was that it has no aluminium salts, no propylene glycol, and no artificial fragrances, which can be harmful for your skin and body. The lavender scent reminded me of an aromatherapy oil which I loved, especially after a nice warm bubble bath. However, I found the texture very different compared to other natural deodorants I have used in the past. The easiest way to apply this is to hold it on your underarm for a few seconds so the product warms up, and then it will glide on. After using this product for six days, my left underarm became very irritated. It felt like my underarm was burning and itching all at the same time. It took a lot for me not to scratch my armpit. I dont have sensitive skin at all, but this gave me irritation. I discontinued using it for another two days, until I decided to give it another try. Upon using it again, the same irritation occurred, and that's when I was done with this product. Smells amazing, did a decent job on keeping odour away, the texture is ok, but it irritated my arm pits.

Not the greatest and the scent is overpowering.

I received this product about a week or so ago and I have been testing it ever since. As soon as I opened the box this heavy scent of lavender hit me in the face like a brick but of course since the box was so small and it was in there for a while figured the scent would dissipate over time but when I reached for it the next morning my whole closet smelled like this strong overpowering scent. Not only that but when you apply it, it feels very gritty & it dries white under your arms so that's a no to anything black or sleeveless and it doesn't last all day long I had to reapply twice throughout the day. The scent lasts long in the stick itself but once mixed with sweat it almost dissipates completely within hours.. I had very high hopes for this product but honestly it was a big nope for me. I did receive this product free for testing purposes in exchange for my honest opinion and I would not purchase this product again. #gotitfree #lavendersage #allnatural

Schmidts lavender sage natural deodorant

I received the Schmidts lavender sage natural deodorant as a free sample. I liked the smell of it and it was very effective (it lasted all day), but I didn’t like that it left my arm pit white and that it transferred to my shirt.

Wasn’t my cup of tea

I wasn’t a fan of the scent first off, it was strong and off putting. I didn’t care for the texture either. I wouldn’t purchase again for smell alone.
