I really enjoyed this deodorant! The smell wasn’t overpowering but it covered for the full day. Bonus...it’s natural!

Lovely deodorant

This was my first try with natural deodorants and I extremely loved it. It genuinely smells like rose and black pepper, no artificial scent at all. I personally think hemp oil was a great addition to it.

New smell

Its a great stick. Works great, does the job, just a little too strong smell for me but it could be an asset for other people. Smoot.

My favorite part was the scent

The scent of this deodorant was lovely, it is interesting that they combined rose and black pepper. This formula has a better texture than that of the other Schmidt's deodorants, it is not as grainy as the others. It goes on smoothly and does not clump as much as the others. I was happy that it does not irritate my armpits, some Schmidt products irritate my armpits while others do not. However, it does not help as much as the others with bad odors at the end of the day (the charcoal and magnesium is best for odors). The packaging is very nice and feminine, which would catch my eye if I was shopping. Overall, I would give it a 3.5/5. This Rose+Black pepper was pretty good, but it would not be my first choice for natural deodorants. My most important criteria would be to guard against odors, which is scores a 3/5.

great smelling and natural deodarant!

I absolutely love the smell of this deodorant !! It's so subtle yet refreshing. The smell also stays the same throughout the day and despite the humidity. I received this product complimentary to try out and I must say that I am not disappointed at all! I appreciate that the deodorant is free from parabens, phthalates, aluminum salts, and propylene glycol and that it's vegan! So hard to find a good natural deodarant. Will definitely be repurchasing this once mine runs out.

This scent is to die for!

Of the two Schmidt’s deodorant scents I tried, this one is my favourite! Rose and black pepper is a combo I would’ve never thought of but it’s great - the black pepper neutralizes the rose so it’s not overly floral and strong. I put this on and was neither itch or sweaty the entire day. It’s mild enough to wear at night as well.

Smell is weird

I have loved other deodorant from Schmidt's. I also love the smell of roses. This product however is a bit of a miss for me. There is a strong rose smell at first application but there is also a lingering smell of what I guess is the pepper. However, the after smell of the pepper is kind of funky which is not something I want in my deodorant. I don't want people to wonder if I smell like sweat or like something else.
Luckily, the smell tones down during the day. It also goes on smoothly and keeps odors away. I will continue to use it because of this but it is not my favorite.

Great product

Really great product. It’s a nice smell that’s light and just so slightly feminine yet refreshing. Goes on smooth and lasts all day even after a run!

Schmidt's Rose + Black Pepper Natural Deodorant

I liked the actual deodorant but the smell was definitelynot for me. The stick went on smoothly and the product melted into my skin, I didn't find myself prespiring or having any body odor all day!

Effective and Smells Great!

I tried this deodorant courtesy of Chick Advisor. The fragrance is beautiful, subtle and I was surprised you could actually detect both the rose and the pepper, so unique and natural smelling. The formula goes on smoothly and I didn't experience any crumbly, white residue. It's s super gentle causing no irritation or dryness (it's infused with hemp oil). It worked all day, even while working in the garden on a hot day. What more could you want? Throw in vegan and cruelty-free and you've got an amazing product that is worth a repeat purchase!
