Allergic reaction

I was super excited to try this new deodorant, as it smelled AMAZING! After using this product for three days I broke out in a rash under my arms. As it turns out, after some research, sometimes when swapping to a natural deodorant people react to the baking soda additive. I was one of the unfortunates. Buyer beware; if swapping to natural, make sure you do a skin test first!

Nice product but texture is...

Disclaimer: I received the Schmidt's Rose + Vanilla Natural Deodorant from ChickAdvisor to try in exchange for a review however, opinions are my own.

I was excited to be chosen to review this deodorant as I have always wanted to try a natural, aluminium-free deodorant. The Schmidt's Rose + Vanilla Natural Deodorant smells really good but I hardly notice the vanilla scent. It could be a little overwhelming to some people but I find it perfect for since it didn't give me any headache. I would say this deodorant works like any other brands however the texture is very different from the ones you normally find. It has a very grainy/sandy texture which I don't like. I also didn't like how the deodorant kind of rub and fall off as you are applying it to your armpits. The instruction says that you have to hold the deodorant against your skin to warm it up before applying which discourages me to use it more often since I have to spend a little bit more time in order to use this product.

Not as expected

I liked the scent and the product worked well however in application it was very grainy and rough on my skin. I have used the same brand with a different scent that was a lot easier to apply and much smoother in consistency. I'm not sure if this particular sample I received was a dud but I don't think I'll use this again.

Disappointed

I received this product via Chickadvisor. I was really excited to try it because I only use natural deodorant.
However, the smell on this was SO strong, it gave me an instant headache and made it hard to breathe.
If you have any sensitivities to scents, or asthma, I would avoid this variety!
I can't attest to whether it works well or not because I had to take it off asap

The smell is not for me - almost makes me smell worse?

NOT a go to for me - they have lots of other kinds that work way better for me personally (the bergamot & lime or the charcoal ones work nicely!) the scent is not my favourite and I feel like I sweat more??

Rough on skin

Felt like sandpaper when applying. Im not a fan of floral scents. I didnt like it.

Initially for few hours was okay with the scent, but as time went by, I noticed the natural odour coming up and it oddly got mixed with the rose and vanilla and it was not a good mix for me. Not sure if it worked for other people but I don't think I will try using it again :(

Very strong fragrance

This was very strongly scented. I love rose ssents but this one was very strong, I could smell it before I even opened it. It was a bit gritty when applying and it made me itchy. I have sensitive skin and and also sensitive to strong fragrance so unfortunately this didn't work well for me.

Smells Nice Though

I wanted to really like this because I was really wanting to make the switch to Natural but only thing I liked was that it smells really good. Soft, subtle rosy scent but other than that it did nothing for me. Packaging and texture were thumbs up though and it never caused any irritation like some people have suggested.
