Smells good, but messy.

I was very excited to receive this sample to test courtesy of ChickAdvisor. I absolutely love the rose and vanilla scent - rose being the predominant smell. Upon first application, I could feel how grainy this deodorant is. I do not like the texture at all when applying it. It feels like I'm rubbing sand under my arms - no matter how slow or lightly I apply the product. I left it for a few minutes to melt before wearing my clothes, but it still left a bit of residue on my clothes. The smell is great, but I just can't get over the rough texture.

Natural Deodorant

This natural deodorant has an amazinggg scent which you’ll fall in love with and be excited to use, to which the scent last awhile. However, since it is natural the texture of it is really grainy and hurts really bad when applying. The instructions say to let it sit on armpit to warm up then proceed to rub on, all though I find that doesn’t help. If you think your armpit can handle the roughness then I’d say go for it! It’s always good to use natural products when you can.

Why the grit?

I really wanted to like this product that I received from @Chickadvisor. It's cruelty free which is a requirement for me. All good ingredients too. It had a great smell when I first put it on but then it didn't smell good after. What I don't understand is why it's gritty? It's uncomfortable to apply. I will stick it out a bit longer but I don't think I will purchase this product.

Loved the scent but..

The scent is what sold me on this product. Rose and Vanilla are 2 of my favorite scents. I was excited to try it, as I want to get away from using anti perspirants and into more natural products. Unfortunately, the product did not work for me. I really wanted it to work for me. Using it working from home being away from people is fine, but I could never wear this to work or out in public as I would sweat and get really bad BO.
I expected a lot better from all of the reviews and hype about this product. Maybe natural deodorants are just not for me.

I really wanted to like this!

I really wanted to love this sample that I received from @chickadvisor and @schmidts but I just can't do it. I haven't had a chance to even test its effectiveness because the scent is so strong and distracting. The rose scent of this deodorant actually made my throat burn. I could get used to the unusual paste like texture but the smell is hands down a deal breaker for me.
I would be willing to try other scents, but say no to roses.

Pas satisfait

Je n’ai pas aimé la texture granuleuse, le parfait est très fort donc durant la journée je pouvais sentir l’odeur du désodorisant.

Schmidt's Rose + Vanilla Deodorant

The scent was strong but very nice but what bothered me was a burning sensation and my underarms felt sticky and wet hours after applying the deodorant which was very uncomfortable. The color of the deodorant unfortunately stained my blouses/shirts as well. Excited to try a new natural deodorant but not the product for me.

I found the fragrance too strong

I prefer a more subtle fragrance in the products that I use.

Disappointed

I really, really wanted to love this product! Unfortunately, I found it grainy even when I followed the user instructions. The scent is lovely and I am so sad that it wasn't what I was hoping for!
