Not for me!

This product was not for me. It was just ok. It dried well and didn't rub off, however I do work out alot and so it was dripping while I was sweating which was embarrassing. I think this product is best used for a quick fix when you have something to go to and need to quickly cover greys but other than that I think I would rather stick with something more permanent and longer lasting.

Good temporary fix if you don’t mind the mess

I received this product free to review thanks to chickadvisor. #gotitfree #tryRootRetoucher this product came with s spray nozzle to help direct the product to a specific root area however can be tricky to apply. If you apply with the nozzle too far away you can get product in places you don’t want to. Clean up however is super easy as it can be washed out with one shampoo. I took s baby wipe to the area that I didn’t mean to spray and had no problem with removal. The product doesn’t stink but doesn’t smell great either. This is a fair product as a temporary fix. Of course b/c it is temporary I wouldn’t recommend going to sleep with it still in your hair as there will be residue in your pillows.

Quick Color Refresh

I have dark black hair and received Schwarzkip Root Retoucher in Black to test. I have a little bit of roots that are showing through and a couple of greys.

Though the product has minimal instruction, it was quick and easy to use. I do recommend wearing some gloves and being careful where you spray though the product does come off walls easily. I simply sprayed my roots and they turned black and dried quickly. I did try to spray my few grey hairs and it was hard to aim directly at one strand but did turn the hair black but I don't recommend it. It took too much effort, stick to the roots I suppose what this product was made for. There is no strong smell. The only slight disappointment was that is washed right out after one wash. Hoped it would last a little longer.

I do recommend and will continue using Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher for quick color refresh.

I love this stuff! Just recently dyed my hair a blue black, and this covers up the few grey hairs I get in between salon visits. I also use this along my hairline to give the illusion of a thicker, stronger hairline! You get a good amount of product in the bottle, so I think it's a good value.

I only used this on day two or day three hair, and I didn't find it made it feel any dirtier or greasy at all. I also didn't find any remnants of it on my pillowcase at all.

I would buy this product for sure, as long as I keep my dark hair :)

Jai tester se produit gratuitement et vraiment jen suis heureuse !! Jaime bien se produit ses un produit qui peut vraiment nous depanner en cas de repousse en plus elle na pas de mauvaise odeur. Un petit quelque chose que nous devrions tous avoir en cas durgent capilaire loll

Not Impressed

I was lucky enough to be selected to try this for free, thanks to the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I have mixed feelings about this product, more bad than good. Firstly, there are no instructions on the can, other than to "Shake well". Big no-no #1. Next, it has a strong smell. I also don't like that there are only 3 shades to choose from, when there are way more than 3 shades of hair color in this world. I don't like how it makes my hair look dull, BUT....I DO like how it covers my roots, and random grey areas easily, and doesn't make my hair stiff as other root cover-up sprays have in the past. I also like that once it is fully dry, it doesn't transfer much on to clothes or skin. Washes out fairly easily. Would I go out and actually buy this ? NO, but it was fun to try. Never know if you like something till you try it. Thanks ChickAdvisor !

Quick shot of colour to cover up greys! Dries quickly!

Received Schwarzkip Root Retoucher in Black colour to test. My hair is currently Asian black that has been colour treated. Roots are showing through more like salt and pepper style.

Product is very easy to use, does the job and works well. Covered my greys quickly and easily and also dried instantly. Easy to clean up, washes out and doesn't really smell strong. Was a blast of cold air when applying to head.

Accidentally got some on my bathroom wall, but easily wiped up with a bit of toothpaste and an old toothbrush since my walls were a bit textured.

Would recommend if you need to cover up your greys quickly!

I'm impressed

#gotitfree After a disappointing experience with hair colour from this particular brand naturually I had low expectations for this root retoucher but boy was I wrong! I am really stunned and surprised at how well it really did cover my pestering greys that were coming in again. The colour black is a beautiful blend in with my natural hair colour (black). I highly recommend it and will continue using Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher in between colouring my hair.

It Works But

I was lucky enough to get to try the Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher in black thanks to Chick Advisor #Igotitfree .

It works really well at covering up my roots and is a great temporary fix. However, I found it to be a bit messy when applying and found that it does not set in my hair. If you use this product, you cannot run your hands through your hair. Unless, you want them to be cover in black residue.

I may re-purchase because it does a good job when your in a pinch.
