Not for me

Thank you to ChickAdvisor for the opportunity to try SCHWARZKOPF ROOT RETOUCHER. I was excited to try this product as I am trying not to color my hair too often and thought this would be a perfect way to cover my roots. I was expecting the product not to be as watery as it was and I guess a bit more powdery. The product does do a good job covering your roots but I found that for my thin hair the product showed too much on my scalp. I would recommend this product for someone with a fuller head of hair as it might work better.

Love My Roots

I loved this product. It was not very hard to touch up my roots and I like the idea of just doing my roots without having to colour all my hair. it was easy to apply and it was not very messy. The colour was pretty accurate as well. I would highly recommend this product to my friends and will probably use it in the future.

Great coverage!

I was lucky to get to try the Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher through Chickadvisor. I chose the dark brown shade for my hair. I really liked using this spray to cover my greys that are starting to pop up ☹️. It provided even coverage and it really blended well with my current hair colour. It also lasted all day which was great so I didn’t have to worry about my hair changing back mid day. Overall I would definately recommend this product for root coverage for grey hair. #gotitfree

I HAD THIS PRODUCT FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS, AND I WAS GOING OUT FOR AN EVENING KNOWING MY HAIR NEEDED TO BE TOUCHED UP, THOUGHT THIS WAS THE PERFECT TIME TO GIVE MY ROOT RETOUCHER A TRY. I WAS SO PLEASED TO SEE THE RESULTS, LOOKED LIKE I HAD DONE MY WHOLE HEAD. WOW THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE. WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MADE FOR ME, THANK YOU CHICK ADVISOR.

It gave a quick temporary fix to some grey roots. I uaed it before my color at salon to get me by.. it was ok.. its a good temp fix.. smelled great too..

Works well but choose the right shade!

This is the first time I've tried any root retoucher. I was skeptical about trying this product at first because I wasnt sure really what to expect. I have to say the Schwarzkpof Root Retoucher turned out to be a good product. The color was a little dark for my hair but it covered the grey really well. You have to be careful when spraying it that you hold it back a bit or it goes in patches which isnt that great. lol But I have to say it stayed on throughout the day and even if I sweated it never ran off. Also when I slept it never came off on my pillow. It was really good I must say. If thier was one complaint I would have its that once I forgot it was in my hair and I rubbed my hand thru it and it got all over my hands. lol You have to be very mindful when using it.

Pleasantly Surprised

I was very sceptical to try this product but I sure am glad that I did! I was very pleased with how it well it worked. The product was a great match for my hair colour and the special nozzle on the bottle made it fairly easy to control when spraying it. I was concerned that the product would flake off when it was dry but it didn’t. It lasted all day and if I didn’t wash it out right away it still looked okay the next day.
I think that this is a great way to do a root touch up if I was between colourings and was going out or for a special unexpected occasion. It is quick to use and very effective!

Loving the grey coverage

This has been such a handy product to have and I have been really happy with how well it has covered my regrowth around my face and hairline. I have black hair so any grey hairs that show up become very noticeable even with just a slight bit of regrowth. I only have the odd few greys starting to show up but I really can't stand the sight of them. This was so quick and easy to use before going out for any occasion just to make my hair look great and freshly coloured. Application is quick and easy and the spray nozzle is precise. There is no weird smell to the product and it washed out easily. I only found results lasted a day at most however. Completely recommend this if your wanting to give your hair a quick tidy up.

I found that the color did not match my hair at all and had to wash it every day for a week just so it would fade enough to not look weird.....it is less expensive and easier for me to just grab a box of hair color and do my whole head so its perfect

Good for short term coverage

I found that this root touch up, did a good job of blending in with my hair color. It did hide my roots that were showing, but sadly it didn't last very long. It seemed to fade after a few hours of wear. It could just be because I naturally have oily hair. Also its hard to fully say because it is winter and we do have to wear hats here in the north lol, with temperatures that stay between -20 to -40 all winter, its hard to not wear one. I will save the rest of my can and try again during the warmer months when i'm sure i will be able to give a more accurate review. Hope this helps in the mean time.
