Messy and it matching

I found the product to be dripping and messy, the color did not match my hair at all and it.
It was harder to apply then I anticipated.
I don’t recommend this product.

Great for roots and streaks!

I received the Schwarkopf Dark Mahogany Root Retoucher for free to try and used it to create a two-toned look to my bright red hair by spraying streaks and the tips. To my delight it actually worked quite well! The effect looked great and I was happy with the product. Only downside is that the colour transferred to my clothes (which washed out completely) but given that the colour is meant for roots, I'm not surprised. The colour lasted about 2-3 days until I washed my hair again. I recently went brunette and plan to use it to touch up my roots in a couple of weeks. The rich and beautiful tone of the dark mahogony Root Retoucher was my inspiration. Overall a great product and great value. I plan to buy it in the future.

not for me

the color was not a good match for me, but I tried it anyway. it felt kind of like spray on paint or something like that, I didn't like the texture and it was not a good color match for my dark auburn hair. I might not have used it right, maybe, but I was afraid it might run if I was out in precipitation and sure enough was out in the snow for a bit too long and I had some running... YIKES!!

This is not a product that I would use again.
I am not sure if it is just my particular hair color or the product but the color did not match at all and it has taken about 3 weeks for it to blend into my hair color.
I would rather just do my whole head than have it look weird for weeks.....good thing it is toque season here

Schwarzkopf Roor Retoucher/LOVE IT

While I have tried other forms of root touch up sprays, I really do like the Schwarzkopf brand. I received the Root Retoucher in the dark mahogany shade. When I tried it I noticed there was immediate coverage, it dried quickly and most importantly did not come off on my clothing or my white pillow cases. Also, it was one of the few aerosol products that did not give me a reaction because of the propellant. This being said I would definitely use this product again as opposed to any of the competitors products.

Good, just be gentle

I think this is a great product for in between colouring. I did find that I had to be extra careful, otherwise it would colour my scalp as well. I also wish it came in different shades of red, as it was a bit too dark for me, but I made it work. All in all, it is great for when you need a fix up, just go lightly and you'll be fine.

Lasts longer on pillowcases

I was excited to try the Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher free from Chick Advisor. While the bottle looks wonderful, the instructions are hidden away so carefully that it required a magnifying glass to find them on the peel back label, after two messy attempts at using the spray. After reading the instructions my efforts were not rewarded much more than one or two percent.

Pros - The colour does match enough to get away with.

Cons - If you sleep in it your bedding will stain.
- It leaves your hair crunchy like old fashioned hair spray.
- Do not use for any activity you might work up a sweat at, or run
your hands through your hair then as it runs, stains towels, leaves
funky marks down your clothing and skin.
- If you dye your hair at home it is cheaper just to buy another box of
dye.

Waste of time and money

This product was messy to use and did not even almost match my current hair colour even after combing it through my hair. It also smells like shoe polish. Thankfully it washed out easily. Will not touch this again with a very long pole. I used Dark Mahogany.

Great between dye jobs!

This root retoucher is great for this greying roots between dye jobs. You can use it daily, but I found it didn't all wash out when I showered so I only needed to spray it on every other day. The dark mahogany color matched my hair color perfectly. It's easy to apply, but I needed to use paper towels on my forehead and cheeks to prevent overspray onto my skin. I've already rbeen commended this to some of my colleagues at work.

I like it!

I've tried other root touchup products and didn't care for them, but I do like this one! Your hair feels a tiny bit different than your normal hair, but not much, so I really like that. It seem to cover my gray as well. My only concern is that you are supposed to use the container in an upright position, which is a bit of a challenge to do the top of your head unless you have a helper! I used dark mahogany and it seem to match well with my current hair color. Overall, I did enjoy the product and would probably purchase it in the future. #tryRootRetoucher #CreateYourStyle #gotitfree
