I received this from ChickAdvisor to test and it is a complete lifesaver! I got the sample in the mail and just threw it in my bag because I was on my way out the door. As my luck would have it, my heel caught my pant hem while I was out running around that same day. I remembered putting the sample in my bag, middle of downtown on the side walk. I fixed my torn hem quickly! I had another woman ask me if I needed any help, I thanked her for her concern but told her "me and scotch tape have it!" Will buy again.

I received this item through the Product Review Club. I decided to use one of these strips on a pair of my daughter's pants that were way too long. It definitely does the trick! And the directions are accurate - not to be removed, this stuff really sticks! I am a sewer, so I would likely hem most pants that require it, but this stuff is great for those quick fixes that don't have the luxury of time to have done. Would def recommend to those who do not sew or perhaps those petite who frequently have to shorten pants. I am going to look for other uses for this as well, definitely handy! Thanks Chick Advisor!

I got this free to review from chick advisor. This is perfect for girls who don't own a sewing machine, can't sew or can't afford a pricey tailor. I wouldn't use this on some jeans as i like the look of the original hem, but it works great for long dress pants for work. I am not sure how long it will last.

I am short so almost everytime i buy some pants they need to be hemmed and my sewing skills are very limited. This product is perfect for me . I took me only a few mins and it was done. Scotch Essentials Permanent Hem Bonding Strips I used on my guys work pants, and held up through wearing and washing them afterwards. It is a lot faster and easier than the old way of needle and thread.I do recommend them to family and friends..

I can't sew to save my life and I don't have a lot of extra money to spend on tailoring, so this product is perfect! It was so easy to apply to my clothing and the staying power seems great. I haven't put anything through too much of a wash, but I'm so excited to be able to hem some of my clothes without spending a lot of money. You get so many strips in the package, I'm very impressed by the value of the product for the money. I will definitely keep these in my purse, my desk, and be telling all of my friends about it.

When I saw this on the web site for the first time I was thrilled there was finally a product out there for me. I have short legs and I never seem to be able to find pants that fit me around the waste and in the length. They're always to long and I refuse to pay to have jeans hemmed, so my jeans always fray away. My sister in-law has the same probably as I do, so I had her bring her pants over and we both tried the bonding strips together. We found it very easy to use and so far it has held up very well on her dress pants and our jeans. Even when our jeans and pants have gone through the wash a few times it held on and hasn't shifted. This is also something I thing a wedding party should have on hand just in case someone's hem lets go. I'd definitely recommend Scotch Essentials Permanent Hem bonding strips to everyone!

I was so happy to receive my FREE sample of #ScotchEssentials Permanent Hem Bonding Strips from @ScotchProducts and @ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest opinion. I have so many work dress pant that the hem has come undone. I never have the time or skills to properly mend them. I must say this product so so super easy to use and I have about 3 more pairs of pants that will be instantly mended 1st thing tomorrow morning. Today I used this product for the first time. It is so simple. Turn your pants inside out so you can easily access the hemline. Open the package and remove one strip. For me the length of the strip was perfect. (you can trim it if less is needed). Carefully, press down the strip sticking the sticky side down on the fabric. Make sure that it is close to the fold line so that no extra adhesive will be exposed. Then carefully and slowly remove the brown paper backing. MAKE SURE NOT TO GET THE GLUE ON YOUR FINGERS. (To avoid it sticking to your fingers you can lightly dampen your fingertips with water) I suggest you do this because I did not and the glue strip is super sticky. Once the backing is removed you simply fold up the hem and stick it into place. Super Easy!! Because you are only applying a thin layer of adhesive there is no added weight to your hem and it is totally invisible. No marks, no ugly home stitching marks-nothing. Just press it down firmly and you are ready to go. It is the fastest and easiest way to correct a fallen hem I have ever experienced. This product is an excellent value. You get 30 strips for just $7.99. You could potentially use this product 30 times. Amazing! I will definitely be sharing the news of this fantastic product. I have not had the chance to launder my pants yet, but it states that as long as I use cold water and warm iron it should stay in place. Time will tell.
