I cannot sew! That is a fact. Broke my sewing machine and left hand stitching anything I need. Sewing the hems of pants is not fun or easy. These are easy to use and they work well. I used to get my pants hemmed at the dry cleaners but after one leg fell loose while wearing the pants I decided it wasn't worth the money. These work and hold your pants in place really well. They are much cheaper then hemming at a seamstress or dry cleaner and they are quick so you don't have to wait to get them back.
I was really impressed at how well they worked.

my husband has short legs and every time we go out and buy pants we need to hem them and to be honest I bring them to a seamtress to do it (hush don't tell him, I like the idea he thinks I do it) but we had a couple of golf pants that I need to hem so I said ok lets try this, omg so easy and it stays on people go buy this its great

Wonderful product! So easy to use. The hem bonding strips has made my life so much easier. My son is husky for a 6 year old so I buy many pants/slacks that are 1-2 sizes bigger just so that they would fit his waist, but the legs were too long and always needed to hemmed. These Bonding Hem Strips have saved me time,stress, money and is so easy to use.
I feel fortunate to have been able to try!

This is a wonderful idea to do it yourself permanent hemming! Especially if you don't have time to go to the seamstress to get it fixed..

For $7.99 this comes with 30 strips... totally affordable! Does take a bit of practice as it is VERY STICKY.

The only negative thing about this is that I miss the look of a real hem with stitching..

I received this product free from the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. My hubby and I always seem to have pants to hem. It just so happened that my hubby bought a brand new pair of jeans that needed to be hemmed. So I followed the instructions on and used it on his jeans. It was so easy to use and it was quick too. I love it that it is permanent and can go through the wash. I would definitely recommend this. It also comes with so much tape! Good value too.

I received this product in the Scotch Essentials package from ChickAdvisor. I loved all the products in this package, but the Permanent Hem Bonding Strips were probably my least favourite. Of course, it is an ideal product to use to ensure your pants stay hemmed... however, I prefer the idea of the adjustable ones so if you need your pants longer or shorter depending on the shoes you're wearing, you have the option of fixing the length.

I think part of the great idea of the hemming strips is that they are less permanent than going and getting them permanently altered, so this product is counteractive in that sense.

However, for those who want permanently hemmed pants and don't want to go get them altered or don't/can't pay the cost, these are a great alternative.

It was easy to use the Scotch Essentials Permanent Hem Bonding Strips once I followed the instructions included with the packet of very sticky strips. It is great to now have an alternative to spending much time and money going to a seamstress to hem a pair of pants. I would recommend this product.
