I love this Sensodyne toothpaste! It effectively desesitizes teeth and smoothes them over. However, buyers should be aware that you must stick with it for a number of weeks in order for it to work properly. If you try it for a few days and claim it doesn't work (like most negative reviewers probably do), then you're fooling yourself. With anything, you must give it a chance to do its job.

It is true that this toothpaste has a rather...unpleasant taste (at least to me). It's hardly minty. It's more medicine-like. But it's not unbearable.

That was about four months ago and now I would not think of using anything else. The pain in my mouth is gone, and I can now eat anything I want without having any problems. This includes my ever favorite ice cream. I don't use sensodyne everyday, I also use crest whitening as well, I like to mix it up. But sensodyne is an amazing tooth paste. Great product.
