Love this cleansing oil!

Super impressed with this cleansing oil. Removed all my makeup, without leaving any residue! It also smells really great and you only need to use a small dab.

Fresh and clean

I received a free sample of Shu Uemura ultime8 sublime cleansing oil from @Butterly @Chickadvisor

As I received a sachet sample, this review will be based on one time use.
At first I didn’t think a oil based cleanser would work for my skin and even thought this may make me break out but it was the total opposite! Shu Uemura left my skin refreshed and clean and not oily at all. I will be making a trip soon to Sephora #tryShuUemura

Silky Smooth Results

Shu Uemura Ultime 8 cleansing oil is my new favourite cleanser. I received a small amount to test and review; these are my thoughts: First it’s an oil so I needed very little to cleanse my face & neck. A small amount covered the areas very well. It doesn’t create a lot of lather when applying and working onto my skin and rinsed clean leaving no heaviness or greasiness behind. The cleanser has a subtle pleasant fragrance that isn’t overbearing at all, I really only noticed the fragrance when applying so there is no lingering fragrance once it’s removed. Upon rinsing off the cleanser you are left with the super soft silky skin. While writing this review I am continually touching my face and neck. I love how soft they feel. This is a pure winner and will replace my current face cleanser. Excited to try more of this line.

Did not suit my sensitive skin/stinging eyes.

I'm a big fan of cleansing oils as I have dry skin. However, this one didn't work for me even though I avoided rubbing the eye area vigorously, my eyes were stinging all night.

Absolutely lovable

I got this product and absolutely love it , feels awsome on my face and left my face feeling amazing. I would highly recommend everyone try this man or woman its amazing

Best cleansing oil!!!

I was so fortunate to get to try this cleansing oil. I’ve never used cleansing oil before to remove makeup so I was super happy. It basically took off my eye makeup, mascara, under eye concealer and eyebrow color really well without making my skin feel oily. I just used my hands to rub the makeup off. I was very impressed and would highly recommend it!!!

Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil

I can't comment on its long term effect since I was only able to test the sachet format but for the few times I tested this product, I can say that it somehow removed my makeup, though I needed to put more drops to cleanse my whole face resulting to some burning sensation.

Skin silky but not feeling cleansed

Not sold on this cleanser. It definitely does not remove all my eye makeup, however my skin does feel soooo smooth & silky afterwards . I’ll continue to finish up sample. Maybe I’ll change my mind

Luxurious cleansing oil

I used this cleansing oil as the first step in my cleansing routine, to remove my makeup. I was pleasantly surprised to find how smooth this oil felt on my skin, and I also loved the fact that it lathered. It gave off a very luxurious feeling, almost as if I was having a facial done at a spa!

The results were fantastic, too. After I applied the oil, all my makeup had been effectively removed. After I rinsed with water, my skin was clean, supple, and ready for the next step in my routine: cleanser. After using this product, my skin feels soft and hydrated.

This product adds luxury and quality to my skincare routine. I would recommend it and would purchase again.

Oil That Actually Cleanses Your Skin!

I had the opportunity to try Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil courtesy of ChickAdvisor. I was initially skeptical of using an oil product to cleanse my skin (especially my face!) but I was pleasantly surprised! The product has a pleasant soft, floral scent. You do not need to use a lot of product in order to cleanse your face; a little bit goes a long way! After rinsing off the product, my skin felt clean, fresh, soft and moisturized, but not greasy or oily. My only complaint is that I did not find that it effectively removed my make-up on its own; I still used a separate make-up remover product. While this product isn't my personal favourite, using it was certainly a pleasant experience.
