Great primer!

Let me skin feeling very smooth and provided a great base for my foundation! This is my first time using a primer and I noticed the difference immediately! I love it!

Good Quality, but Not the Best

I really do like the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer in Clear, but it can be compared to drug store brands like NYX quality wise, except that it is a lot more expensive. It does provide very good hold when used before foundation, and makes your make up look flawless.

No No No

I was given a sample pack of the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer, and was super excited to try it out. After using it, I had the worst breakout I have had in probably years. It kept my foundation looking good, but definitely not worth the aftermath! Stay away if you have sensitive skin.

The product itself works really well. Don't get me wrong, its definitely a great primer and I loved using it. This being said though, the value just isn't there. I have found that the NYX clear primer is an almost perfect dupe for this primer but can be found at drug stores or ordered online for a third of the price. Got this once as a sample and loved it but after reading some reviews and whatnots online decided to try the NYX one instead (for the sake of the wallet) and found it hard to notice a big difference.

Would not buy again since I can get virtually the same product much cheaper

This stuff is awesome. I am 42 years old. It fills in lines and took years off my face. Leaves skin silk smooth and ready for foundation. Love ❤ it!

The texture surprised me as it was clear and had a gel like consistency. It went on smooth almost gliding over the skin. I did wear this underneath tinted moisturizer and I have to say I absolutely loved how silky soft it made my skin feel. I have normal to combination skin so it didn't matter much that it's an oil free product but I can see how appealing this would be to those with an oilier skin tone. As for covering pores Im unsure of that as well since I have very small pores. It did leave my skin eventoned, soft and glowing. My tinted moisturizer stayed on all day as did the rest of my makeup. Although some might find this product slightly pricey it is well worth it since you only need to use a small amount to yield big results. Now if I could only find the perfect concealer.

Smashbox primer is pretty good, not great but pretty good. For the price I have primer's that work better but it's certainly not bad. It just doesn't fill in my pores as good as others although it does feel great on my skin

This is a great primer. It goes on smoothly and doesn't leave your skin feeling oily. Foundation Glides on easily and skin looks hydrated and flawless.

I used to love smashbox when it was cruelty free. I used to buy this primer. It works well enough, however it's not a primer that really absorbs into the skin, but rather coats the skin in a smooth, silky film. This might sound good, but you can feel it on your face all day long. The other reason I wouldn't buy this product is because E.L.F. offers one that is exactly like it. All of elf's primers are comparable, cruelty free, and more than 100x cheaper. Smashbox primer= $30 Canadian, Elf primer= $4

The smashbox primer is my absolutely favourite primer! It goes on nic3ly without having to use a ton of product and doesn't effect my skin in any way.
The price is a bit higher then most like to spend but it is worth it for sure, you don't need to use a ton of product so in the end it's really doesn't cost that much more.
