I used this throughout the length of my teenage acne years. During that time I didn't really like it, I didn't feel like it was doing anything. Since it was part of my dermatologist's regime I kept with it. I strayed away from this cleanser as I got older until this summer my face just totally flared up with acne and eczema. I bought cetaphil but I heard it was similar to spectro jel, very gentle. It totally cleared up my skin, both the acne and eczema within a couple days. I was amazed!

I switched back to spectro jel and so far I feel it was the same as cetaphil. I prefer spectro jel over cetaphil just because of the price, spectro jel is slightly cheaper. This is the only reason it is my holy grail, both work exactly the same for me.

The key to making this work for me was using it dry. Not wetting my hands or face, just massaging the product by itself into my face then rinsing it off. My face feels clean without any tightness. i was using it "wet" throughout my teenage years and never got that feeling of "clean" I guess the water was diluting it too much.

This will be the only cleanser I was will purchasing from now on (or cetaphil, whichever one is cheapest at the time I need to replenish!)

This stuff is great for sensitive skin as well as dry skin. Even my doctor recommended it. Also, since it is so mild it's a great cleanser to use for new tattoos and piercings.

I love Spectroderm for dry skin. It cleans my skin, doesn't burn my eyes and leaves my skin ready for night cream. It lasts a long time and is on sale often.

this is very very gentle for my overly sensitive skin, and my face feels clean after i use it, but its not really that wonderful for fighting zits. so i would recommend using it with another zit fighting product

I've been using spectro jel forever!! It works like a charm. I'm always getting compliments on how my skin looks soft and healthy. I use it every morning and I love it. I've tried other face washes and nothing has compared to spectro jel. I recomend this face wash for everyone. It makes your face feel wonderful and blemish free.

My skin had been generally clear throughout all my years as a teenager however during my last year of being one my skin decided to finally act out. I've been hooked on the Spectro Jel combination cleanser for many years and it did a decent job, but when I finally switched over to the acne one it really worked. My skin looked better by just a switch of a formula. :)

This is may favourite cleanser. It's inexpensive, lasts forever, and makes your skin feel soft and clean. I use the one for sensitive skin and it works great for my Rosacea prone, middle aged skin. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. It cleans your face without drying, or irritating it. You can even use it without water and just tissue off! It doesn't sting your eyes or have a heavy scent. If you wear a lot of eye makeup, you may want to use an eye makeup remover first, but for light makeup applications, this is all you need.

an awesome acne cleanser at an awesome price..and best of all...its canadian! i've always like buying and support canadian brands..especially the ones that work well. :) i bought this from a recommendation from a friend. i break out every once and so i have to use an acne cleanser to try to prevent a massive breakout. i now let my brother, who has a more severe acne problem than i do. i like how it leaves my skin feeling clean but hydrated, which doesn't occur very often for a lot of acne cleansers that i've tried

This is the only facial cleanser Ive been using for a few years now. It costs about $10 dollars when on sale, and lasts forever and ever. I use the blue one for blemish prone skin, and it doesnt contain alcohol. It does have a slight fragrance, but it doesnt bug me at all. This is very good for my acne prone sensitive skin, and doesnt make my face red or break me out like other products do. It also leaves my skin very soft after using it. It doesnt take off any makeup I have on if I happen to be using it, but I can always use a separate makeup remover for that.
