i have sensitive skin and it was great but i felt like i had to use a lot ...

I have very sensitive skin with rosacea so harsh/foaming cleansers are a big no-no. This is a very gentle cleanser that doesn't irritate my skin at all and leaves it feeling soft.

The only con is that it doesn't take off makeup at all unless u wipe away with wash cloth. I usually put it on dry skin, rub it in for a few seconds and wipe it away. However, I do usually need some pre-cleansing for my makeup for which I use a cleansing oil.

I love this stuff! I noticed I was breaking out a few months ago so I started washing my face with Spectro jel cleanser for acne prone skin and now my face is clear. The trick is to use it twice a day and follow with a moisturizer. I have sensitive skin and this caused absolutely zero irritation. Definitely recommend!

Effective sensation of deep clean skin, soft, smells goooood. Very trustable product!

I have sensitive and breakout prone skin, and although I had never heard about it before, decided to give it a try, because it was recommended to me. When I first used it, I had to get used to the fact that the cleanser doesn't foam up and lather, but i could tell how comfortable and non-irritating it is, as soon as I washed it off, because it made my skin feel clean and soft.

Great non-irritating cleanser. Doesn't dry out your skin. Takes off make-up with face cloth easily.

Smells really strong of alcohol. feels the deep clean but I find its too drying can sometimes make skin flakey.

I use Spectro Jel Facial Cleanser every day in the shower and I love it! It cleans my face very well, and it makes my skin feel clean and smooth. It doesn't dry out my skin or leave it feeling parched. It is gentle enough for everyday use, but effective enough to keep the blemishes away!

RAAAVVVEEEEE!!! I have been using this product for 10 years. I've never had an issue with it -- I have dry/combination skin that can gets oily with hormone changes *sigh*. I have been using Spectro Jel religiously since I was first introduced to it by my mom (she has been using it since the early 90s, and still does).

I also used this product based on a recommendation of my dermatologist. I used this product nightly to wash my face. It cleansed my face and did not dry it out. I don't think it prevented new acne from forming, but it did lessen the amount of time it lasted once I broke out.

Haven't continued using this product out of sheer laziness! Have resorted to using All-in-One wipes before I go to bed! Much more convenient, quick and easy!
