It is ok to use but i found that it really didn't clean the floors that well.I also found that it left my floors streaky bad and i would have to rewash the floors.

It is ok to use if you are in a hurry but other than that i wouldn't use it.

I have all hard floors in my house, so I thought this product would be a real time saver for me. Unfortunately, it didn't do so well. On the plus side, I love the smell of The cleaner. However, within weeks, one of the sprayers stopped working. Now the other rarely works either. I tried changing batteries and soaking the sprayers to see if they were clogged somehow. No dice. Sometimes it doesn't work at all, and the cloths and scrubber head aren't really useful for tougher spills. Needless to say, I was a bit disappointed. Wouldn't really recommend it.

I used this at work tonight and in the areas where there was a tiny bit of dirt it was ok. Anything else it justly seemed to make a bigger mess. Not so impressed with this ! :(

I bought one of these years ago and since then I have read articles on the chemicals in the cleanings solution. If you have a baby/child that crawls around on the floor or a pet do no use this product.

I will start out by saying I have very few good things to say about the Swiffer WetJet. So lets start with the cons shall we...

~ Price! At $24.99 (CAN) for the starter kit. $8.29 for 12 pk. of Cloth Refills and $5.89 for 1.25L Solution Refills. For the price of the unit and all refills thereafter, I would have expected better.
~ It's not very Eco-Friendly with all the Cloths, Bottles and Batteries to throw away.
~ Batteries Required! Just another thing that takes batteries as far as I'm concerned. The battery life was shorter than I expected and the fact that the battery compartment is located behind the solution bottle, changing the batteries can be a bit of a pain.
~ Removing the Solution bottle for replacement was a fight and the solution bottle can not be refilled, meaning you HAVE to buy Swiffer Brand Refills - or do you? See below for a nifty trick!
~ I can't find replacement scrubber pads (small pad located on top of mop head) anywhere! Do they even make them?
~ LEAKS!!! I found that from time to time the solution would leak while not in use. So what are our options? Store upside down or remove solution bottle, which like I said... is a pain!
~ When it come to mopping effectiveness... I'm on the fence. Did it clean my floors. Yes. However it seems to leave an unclean feeling film on the floor. Almost oily feeling, not clean feeling at all.
~ Durability... The whole unit feels CHEAP... not sturdy or durable at all.

Pros

~ No Buckets and Water required. Meaning a quick mop job when needed. This I like. However the Swiffer WetJet is by no way my first pick. If I have the time I stick to the tried and true mop and bucket. Vileda has kept my business.
~ It's a nice closet decoration, because that's where it sits 99% of the time. lol

I would write more on the pros side... but I really can't think of anything else... Sadly this is a Swiffer Dud! :(

Now for the Nifty Swiffer Refill Trick... who doesn't like to save some $. I searched the internet high and low for an answer to swiffers non-refillable bottles, finally found the answer on Youtube. Thank you to whomever made the video! :o)

Every time these go on a great sale and I have a coupon I think about trying this product again and my husband reminds me what a bad experience I have had. I have tried the swiffer twice and both times ended up throwing it away. A bit of background about my cleaning habits, Im a on your hands and knees, bleach scrubbing type of girl almost every day of the week. This product is not for someone like me. The pads are very expensive if you clean as much as I do, I would be going through 2-3 a day. Additionally with two boys under 5 this product does not keep my floors clean enough. I think for a single man or woman it might work really well, but for our household it just doesnt cut it!
