It took me a bit to figure out the right amount cause my hair gets oily and weighs down easily, but once I figured out I only needed a teeny tiny bit it really was a wonder oil! My ends feel less dry, my hair is shiny and feels soft and healthy!

I was surprised and disappointed that I wasn't a big fan of this after starting to try and use oil products in my hair I found that this one here in comparison to other products that I've used it definitely left my hair feeling a lot of grief here than what I wanted it's possible since I'm new to using the oil products though that I might have used too much I'm not sure I followed the instructions on the bottle that probably will not be buying it again because I still have a big bottle of it but what it is I guess

As long as you don't use too much (it will make your hair greasy if you use it on your roots as well) this is great i f you struggle with fly aways or humidity hair... when going on vacation to humid locations this is fantastic. and the smell is amazing. try it!!

Firstly, it smells amazing. TRESemme products usually seem to smell all the same to me, like a boring shampoo. This product (and the rest of the Botanique line) smells very fresh and almost nutty.
It works great in humidity! I apply it to my hair after it's dried to take away any frizz and help hold everything. It has been fairly hot and humid lately and my hair still stays nice by the end of the day. You do not need too much either, my hair is more than half down my back and I only need a few pumps to thoroughly do my hair and ends. (I avoid my scalp area just to avoid greasiness or oils)

I took the TRESemmé Botanique Damage & Recovery Oil Elixir with me on my vacation to Mexico. I have always found that no matter what I used my hair was never soft and manageable in Mexico , something to do with the water I guess . I have tried so so many products and nothing helped through out the years on my trips until I discovered this recovery oil. I love it , it worked awesome , my hair never felt better and I use it twice a week at home just to keep my hair at its best , definitely recommend it :)

#1-It really repairs your hair cuticle. It seals it and fills in any breakage or tears in your hair strand. It doesn't just sit on top of your hair and make it greasy. It truly does your hair justice and I would recommend using it 3 x a week on very towel dried hair. If you use it on wet hair, it can't seal itself into your hair strand, it will just sort of slide off.Use it 7 x a week if you blow dry daily.

#2 - It hasn't caused me to break out along my hair line, forehead, cheeks, neck, temples. Often I find oil repairs, elixirs etc make me get red bumps but this doesn't.

#3 - The smell is gorgeous and light. It doesn't weigh your hair down, protects it from the sun and/or cold dry winters. I used to only buy Salon Oil's but TRESemme works just as well if not better and the price is way more affordable.

Great buy - affordable, effective, and smells great! I have quite damaged dry and thin hair and I find this product to be lightweight for an oil and does not leave my hair greasy.

I started using this product when i had very damaged hair. My hair would fall of easily and i was unable to find a good shampoo to use. This product worked great for my damaged hair. The price of the product was affordable as well.

Took this product on vacation. Kept it in my beach bag. Love the smell and the way my hair felt. Kept my hair feeling nourished and not dry at all. Love how my hair felt even with being in the sun all day. Would definitely keep using.

Great Product. Took it on vacation- left it in my beach bag. Left hair feeling smooth. Did not feel dry at all. Now I use after every wash as a leave in conditioner. Would recommend!!
