This product distinctly says "do not rub in". So I didn't. And I didn't really notice the mask "fizz" or do anything cool. So then I did rub it in. Still nothing. But it does make my face feel super clean.

For a fizzy, cool mask, I prefer the Bliss oxygen mask. I couldn't get this to fizz for the life of me.
