This is an excellent eyeshadow primer that helps eyeshadow from creasing and fading all day so no touch-ups are needed!

i LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! I really like eyeshadow and have always worn it when I want to get dressed up - but I always find by the end of the night I don't even look like I was wearing make up. This was suggested to me by a sephora make up artist and I would never wear eyeshadow without it now! It makes your eyelid the perfect canvas... I HIGHLY recommend it!

I used to use the L'oreal de-crease as a primer until I heard a rave of reviews about this product. This eyeshadow primer does wonders! I could wear eyeshadow over this primer and it wouldn't budge at the end of the day. It absorbs into the skin well, but it feels a little sticky. Eyeshadows don't blend as well than without primer but it doesn't bother me. I have really oily eyelids and this primer potion really does its job. I don't usually put eyeliner on my bottom lid because it tends to fade and smudge in an hour. I placed a small amount right on my bottom lid and my eyeliner doesn't have any noticeable smudges. I like this product a lot and it hold a good amount, however the shape of the package doesn't do too well because a lot of product it still left over when you think there isn't any left. You'd have to cut it open to get the remaining product left in the bottle.

Makes even the cheapest eyeshadows (like ELF) last!

The price tag might make you wary of the product, but it really does its job, and does it VERY well.
Just like others mentioned, to make sure you get the best bang for your buck, check out the videos, or other tutorials on how to get ALL the product out of the poor packaging of the UDPP.

I never give a product 5 stars for all three price, quality and effectiveness, but I can definitely say that this primer potion is much more than 5 stars in my book! As a make up artist, I live by this primer. One of the biggest faux pas for eyeshadow makeup is smearing and creasing of the lids which can happen to everyone. Thankfully, this amazing product not only prevents creasing, it also brightens up the colour as well. It works just like any other base, but its effectiveness in long term wear is amazing. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially those who love make up as much as me. Ofcourse, the price affects the quality of the product..but its definitely an investment.

IMPORTANT: For those who already purchased the primer, please make sure you watch you tube videos on this product. The packaging is done in a way that prevents a lot of the primer to stay inside...so WATCH the video on how you can get the most out of it.. I DID AND I LOVE IT!!

I love this product and find that it's one of my "must-haves"!

This primer doesn't change the colour of my eyeliner or eyeshadow at all and it really make my makeup last all day and didn't come off until removed with eye makeup remover. The built-in sponge-tip applicator makes it easy to apply.

My only complaint - because of the shape of the bottle, there's A LOT of product left inside even after the little wand doesn't seem to be pulling any more out.

TIP: (This is going to sound drastic, but you'll be amazed at the results) - When you think the product is finished because the little wand is coming out empty, take a sharp knife and cut the the container in half. You'll find there's a huge amount of product left over. Just scoop it out and put it all in a little jar so you can keep on using it!

Ladies with oily lids: hear me out! I have had so many eyeliner disappointments throughout the years. My smashbox cream liner won't stay on (raccoon eyes, hello!). Even my MAC Fluidline, which is supposed to be smudge proof, won't stay put for just a few hours. I wanted to give up on eyeliner altogether, but I gathered up the courage to head to Sephora to pick up the UDPP.

It takes a little bit of practice to get used to the application. It applies with a long awkward wand, just like lipgloss wands. The first time I tried this, it ended up all over my lashes as well (not good!). Once you get past the awkward stage, everything will be wonderful.

Then here comes the test. I applied it at 9 am. Let it dry completely; this is very important! Once it was completely dry, I put on the MAC Fluidline and prayed to the makeup gods. This was also the day that I will be going out for a sweaty day of snowboarding! After a solid 9 hours of snowboarding, I looked in the mirror to see my eyeliner unsmudged; still as fresh as it was when I first applied it. Wow! I found it also made my eyeshadows look more vibrant. You can say that I'm totally hooked on this stuff!

My only complaint about this is the packaging; the wand can only go straight down the genie-shaped bottle. I read that if you cut the tube open when the wand can't pick up any more product, you will find a lot more product on the sides of the tube. This way you can actually get more bang for your buck. This is really worth every penny that I spent ($18 Cdn).

I guess they don't call this potion for nothing. Will definitely buy this again until they stop selling it!

i was like you, thinking primer was a bunch of phooey..nonsense and a waste of 20 bux. that was untill my best friend came running (literally) up to me in sephora. shes like "will you look at how vibrant this eyeshadow is! its coz of that potion primer stuff!!!" i kid you not, she almost convulsed into hysterics right then and there. if you havent guessed yet, we're both obsessed with makeup. this primer is like nothing ive ever used b4. i have oily eyelids (yum) and my eyeshadow stays put all day. and it really does make your eye shadows more vibrant and colourful. so even if your using a drugstore brand, which typically arent the most pigmented, you still get a nice true colour.

I have really greasy eyelids. I find it's great for my eyeliner but my eyeshadow gets very cakey after 3-4 hours. I only use it if I use eyeliner alone. I now have just given up on eyeshadow. Urban decay was my last hope :(
