I haven't had a Jos Louis since I was a kid and forgot how yummy they were. The perfect amount of chocolate coating, the nice airy cake and the delicious icing in the middle. Going to be hooked on buying these now :)

Jos Louis have been a favourite of mine for quite some time. I am a chocolate fanatic! I pop these in the freezer for a little snack (kind of like an icecream sandwich this way) when i’m craving something sweet. Freezing them gives the outer chocolate layer more crunch and the inner filling is similar to an icecream hardness. I like that they come in halves and as super easy to throw in my kids lunch or just treat myself without eating a full one. My husband did point out that they seem smaller now even the whole ones but to me it’s not a big deal. I love these Jos Louis !

I loved this tasty snack. Very fresh and sweet. It also had a fun contest and bonus coupons on there website. I will definitely be telling my friends and family about it!! Very satisfied.

So yummy! The perfect snack!!

I tried the Vachon 1/2 Jos Louis and they were good for so many reasons. They were fresh, they tasted great and the 1/2 size was perfect for when you just want a taste of something sweet but not a ton of calories. My kids loved them too, they are great for lunches or snacks while waiting for dinner and also for treats. It also makes a nice dessert with a scoop of ice cream :)

1/2 a treat, but full flavour!

I received the opportunity to try these through ChickAdvisor's amazing Product Review Club. These, along with other Vachon treats, were a huge favourite in my house growing up. I am so happy they are still around and just as good as ever! They are moist and flavourful and come wrapped individually for easy on the go snacks or in lunches. They are a nostalgic treat sure to please everyone young and old!

Perfect light snack!

Just the right amount to taste amazing but not feel like you over indulged. When you hear cake you assume your diet is out the window- but it is all about moderation & this half size is perfect.
Always fresh- and the exact amount of chocolate and cream to satisfy your sweet tooth. I always see the stores putting these on sale 2 for 5 ; perfect pricing for any size family. It’s like my own little surprise when I open my lunch box at work and find that I slipped one of these in there :)

Not a fan

I wasn't to impressed with these snack cakes from Vachon.
The 1/2 Jos Louis were very dry, almost crumbly and extremely sweet. The filling was surprisingly the least sweet part about it. For being so small the little cakes you get in the box seem to be enough for 2 people to share.
Although my husband doesn't mind them, I will have to give these a pass.
Not recommended unless you have a hardcore sweet tooth

Special Occasion Treat

These are very inexpensive which caused me to look at the ingredient list which is super long with modified items and chemicals with the first item being sugar. Not a snack I would willingly choose for my kids. As a once in awhile treat for a birthday or party or something they are okay but again, the ingredients are concerning. They are a nice small size and neatly formed in a crescent moon like shape. The center is filled with a creme like substance and sponge cake which was super moist. The outside was covered in a thick layer of chocolate. My daughter actually said it was too chocolatey and didn't care for it.

Would buy again!

Perfect for kids lunches or a quick snack on the go! Delicious! I like them better than the full cakes, less calories and less guilt. I would recommend and I would buy again.

I have been a fan of these little gems for as long as I can remember. When I got my first paycheque I loaded up on these cakes. I still do. Soooo good.
