I was given one of these razors to try for free and was very impressed. The flex ball it comes with is very innovative and really does help shave in all the curves and bends. However, the price is a little outrageous - the cheapest I have spotted was around $18 and the replacement blades are pricey as well. Was great to have the luxury for free, but will probably only purchase again in the future if the price comes down.

I love Venus razors! I only wish this one moved and swiveled more like it shows in the commercials.

I usually am the first one to buy the new razors Gillette Venus comes out with. I am instantly attracted to their colors and designs, just like I was this one. It has a cute purple color with a nice subtle design in the handle. Certainly cute ! I was excited to see the ball so the razor would glide more smoothly in spots, which I was even more thrilled to find out actually worked wonderful. I don't have any actual issues with the razors and the price is average however, I have very sensitive skin and this razor blade made me have ingrown hairs after the third shave and red bumps. I have never had these issues with any other blades just for some reason this one. But if you don't have sensitive skin then this is amazing or if you do, I suggest buy the sensitive razors. :)

Great new razor. I usually don't like buying the newest latest in razors, because really, what more can u do?however, this was super on sale, and there were 20 x the points so I bought it all! The refills the shaving creme in vanilla cashmere, which is also awesome. I got the shaver and the cream, and away I went. I shave regularly, so not much to deal with just a little stubble, and you bet it got me smoother than I thought possible. No bumps later, either, I shaved everything you can imagine!love it!

I have been using Venus razors for as long as I can remember and when I was given a chance to try the Venus Swirl Razor from another website, I was overjoyed!

Although I liked the grip and the feel of the razor, as well as the close shave that it gave me, I was less sold on the Flexiball technology. Unlike the male version of this razor, I did not find that the new technology was as good as it was meant to be. I can't quite explain, but the razor did not really "move along" with the curves of my legs (especially around the knees) and I had to press harder on the razor in order for it to do so (something that I am hesitant of since it can cause cuts and razor burn).

Although I give Venus a thumbs up for trying, I will stick to the other versions of Venus which are cheaper and just as effective without all the bells and whistles ( i.e. Flexiball technology).

OH MY I don't think I could rave anymore about this product, I am so inlove with this razor, it gets every hair and it moves with the shape of the leg perfectly. The fact that it has five blades is amazing, and the price of it is awesome too. I don't think it could have gotten any better.

Nothing special for almost $20... Not really any different from a regular venus. It doesn't glide like the commercials' and Ive already cut myself more than once... I'll stick to regular razors.

The venus swirl razor, not the best I have ever tried. I was afraid to cut myself since i am used to the 2 blade razors, but I was fine. The pivot squeaked a lot, sounded horrible while shaving. I can't believe how loud it was, really not a strong point if you want to relax in a bath and shave too. The shaving cream they recommend you should use, I tried it with the razor as well. The Gillette Venus brand with a touch of olay, violet swirl shave gel. I was disappointed. It didn't lather up as much as expected, had to use more of it. It didn't leave a remarkable smoothness it just was smooth like the usual skintimate brand I use. I am not a huge fan of the smell and the shave wasn't that close neither. I am glad I didn't purchase these two products, I would have been out of some money and disappointed too.

The razor is a beautiful purple, my favourite colour. Love the swirls and colour, the chrome look of the ball is not too in your face, but you do notice it. Looks high tech and cool, but does nothing to enhance the shave. I didn't find it to be beneficial at all. It just squeaked a lot and I was afraid to wake up the neighbors. haha... It is loud, squeaked the entire time, not sure if it needs to be oiled, but the olay could have helped. hehehe... Not the smoothest shave, felt the stubble a few hours after and my hair doesn't grow that fast or thick. It never did shave close. Just grazed the lawn it seems. The other areas of the body are a little tricky. Arm pits were fine, needed so much shave gel, the lather is just not there. Smells a little too close to the man version, smells manly and rough, a little like spring breeze or mountain fresh for men. Not at all a fan of smelling like my man. Would like to attract him, not repel him. Had to reapply twice, to make sure it was covered and the shave wasn't close. Not a huge fan of the Venus Swirl. Too bad, was the coolest looking one to date, for my taste. I have the original Gillette sensor, a 2-bladed invention and it has been with me for so many years, I lost count. My true friend in the battle of hairy days. haha... Not disappointed with my trustworthy friend, but these 2 products, not happy at all with the outcome. Expected more from Gillette, especially Venus, being the shave of the goddesses, not investing in new blades, might not even finish this one, will toss it and move on.
