I was fairly excited when I learned that I was receiving the Vichy Sun Protection box from Chickadvisor (for free) to review and it hasn't let me down! The Vichy sheer lotion bare skin feel SPF 60 is aptly named. Once applied and rubbed in, my skin does not feel greasy and save for a faint scent, it is not apparent that I'm even wearing sunscreen. In regards to body sunscreen, I don't mind a fragrance and this one is definitely tolerable. For me it is more about whether or not the product works, and this passed the test during a beach day, a park dark and a street festival. I would happily purchase this in the future.

This product can be used for both the face and the body. It is always great to have a screen that can be used all over. It also claims to be moisturizing, fragrance-free, and paraben free. Bonus!

This lotion is not as thick as many of the cheaper sunscreens on the market. I was particularly impressed that it was easily blended into the skin without leaving a white residue (because there is nothing worst that taking a little bit of sunscreen and looking like Frosty in the middle of Summer because the sunscreen does not blend in). It should be noted that you should only take a small amount of the product at a time, as a little seems to cover a large area. It should also be noted that the lotion does come out of the package fairly quickly. However, it is definitely moisturizing and left my skin feeling smooth. It doesn’t leave behind a greasy residue, which is definitely a bonus.

Like other products in this line, this product claims to be fragrance free. However, there is a light smell from the product that does remind me of sunscreen. I love how this is not overbearing and would not be something I would easily notice if others were to use this product.

Through advertising, this product claims to be “The lightest texture for body production. Non greasy, dry touch and moisturizing.” These claims are true and definitely makes me a bigger fan of the Vichy products. I love products that do exactly what they claim to do! It should be noted that this product is a little on the pricey side when it comes to sunscreens but we have to keep in mind that we often have to pay a little bit more to get a quality that we’re happy with. I’d recommend giving Vichy a try!

Vichy Ideal Soleil Sheer Lotion Bare Skin Feel SPF 60 is my new favourite SPF Lotion for Face and Body. This lotion is lightweight and applied beautifully. The SPF 60 is great as I feel that I am protected from sun exposure for a good amount of time. These lotion did not feel heavy as some other lotions I have tried in the past. I definitely recommend picking up Vichy Ideal Soleil Sheer Lotion Bare Skin Feel SPF 60.

While the face sunscreen (ultra light) is amazing in my mind, this product is more similar ot other products on the market than that one (in my experience).

Just like with the face sunscreen, I love that it is scent-free, paraben free, doesn't cause an allergic reaction lke many other sunscreens for me, blends right into the skin so you don't feel it, and protects fanasitcally against the sun.

My only note to those considering buying this product: don;t use too much as you will end up with streaks and clumping. If you reapply without washing off the previous coat, you'll have the same result. Furthermore, apply it quickly as if you let it soak in, and then go to add more because you missed a little spot, it will also have the aforementioned effect.

This sunscreen provides great coverage, and really does leave you with that bare skin feel. I absolutely hate sunscreens that leave my skin sticky or oily looking. This product gets absorbed into the skin just like a moisturizing lotion, even when you reapply it. The level of sun protection is on point, and I am overall very satisfied with this product!

First of all, let me start by saying that I like almost everything Vichy. It is a brand I totally trust and I have been using it for well over ten years. I have also been using their Idéal Soleil Lotion Bare Skin Feel SPF 60 for a while and it is great. I suffer from very severe photosensitivity due to an autoimmune illness and while this lotion does not make miracles happen, it is the one that has performed the best in my situation.

I have tried countless types/brands of sunscreen before finally deciding on Vichy as a keeper. Some of its best features, aside from the fact that it is indeed a really good sun protection, are that it is not oily, sticky, nor greasy. It absorbs smoothly and easily. Although it is a thicker cream than most, it feels light on the skin. No offensive fragrance either. Given all these positive characteristics, the lotion is safe to use on your face as well as your body. While I do not hesitate to use it on my face, I do prefer their Ultra Light Lotion SPF 50 for that one specific purpose.

I do not have one bad thing to say about this product. While some people may find the price a little steep compared to popular brands, I believe this is a great example of getting what you paid for. It is totally worth the expense.

This one has an amazing SPF 60. The only other one I've used with the same SPF is the Neutrogena Beach Defense. I find that this Vichy one applies rather well, as I didn't have to keep rubbing it in. It absorbed pretty quickly, making for an easy application. I did not try using this on my face, as I did not want to risk breaking out, but I suppose some people might use it for that as well. You get quite a lot of product for the price, so I was very happy with this one. I would definitely recommend this one for the superior sun protection (SPF 60!!).

Not a big fan of this sunscreen. For the price, I would expect much more compared to less expensive, store brand products but this leaves me disappointed. One positive is that it does not feel greasy. However, it does take a while to rub it in well so not leaving a white residue.

This is a great product and has saved me many days when I forgot to bring sun screen with me. I apply it before I put my make up on so my face is always protected even when I don't think I will be needed it. Its great for the everyday running around when sun exposure is longer then expected. It goes on smoothly and I've never had any issues putting makeup over top!
