Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel is a daily deep cleanser for imperfection-prone skin like my self. After I had tried their moisturizer and loved it, I thought I’d give their cleanser a try. It was a lot more then I like to pay, but after reading this was for all ages of woman and men who have combo to oily skin and after loving the moisturizer, I broke down and bought it. Their web site says that this cleanser is for those of us with combo skin that want to eliminate impurities and excess sebum while reducing shine and deeply cleansing their pores. I waiting until I was getting ready for bed to use it for the first time. I wasn’t wearing any makeup that day, or on any of the other days that I did use it, so I can’t say how well it cleanses away your makeup. The cleanser has a pleasant enough scent, it lathers up nicely and rinses away completely leaving your face feel clean, but not tight like some cleansers for combo skin can do. I was very happy with it that first night, but sadly this happiness faded and faded fast. The next morning I notice I was starting to brake out. Something I hadn’t done in months after using another cleansing kit. I thought well maybe it’s not the cleanser, so I continued to wash with it day and night for a week. Each day my skin broke out more and more until all of the progress I had made with the other kit I was using before this cleanser was completely gone. I stopped using it and went back to the kit I had bin using and my skin cleared right back up. I was very disappointed with Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel and I even mentioned this to them. They asked me to contact them, but when I tried both ways they gave me to do this, I couldn’t get through so I gave up. This is a product where I’d tell you not to buy it! Or if you really want too try it for yourself to definitely try and get a sample before you waste your money on it like I did.

I would highly recommend the entire Normaderm line as the products all work together so well.
The Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Gel is incredible.
Make sure you lather it in your hands before you apply it to your face in order to suds it up.
It work AMAZING on oily skin. After washing your face you'll notice your skin feeling better immediately.
I wouldn't try this if I had dry skin.
But for oily or combination skin, this is great!
I also have very sensitive skin, but have never had a problem with this wash.
Great wash for people with problem skin!
It frequently goes on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart, so watch for sales!

This didn't provide better results than any other drug store brand has provided me with already. For the price I expected a higher quality and did not receive it. Save your $$

I wanted to believe that it works well but definitely did not live up to my expectations. I use the Vichy Normaderm Moisturizer and LOVE it so I thought I'd love this product too. I tried, but I can't say I'm impressed at all. It's not better than drug store brands that are half the price.
I was thoroughly disappointed with this cleansing gel.
The only good thing is that it doesn't irritate your skin, but other than that, it's just an average product.

I enjoy using this cleanser! I have been using it for a year now. I have acne-prone skill and this cleanser really helps fight that.The scent is really nice and fresh smelling, and I don't have to use a lot of product to lather on my face.This product is quite good. It lasts a long time, so this justifies the price.
This product is meant for “skin with imperfections in young women: clogged pores, uneven skin surface, localised shine, redness and dilated pores” ...
It is one of the few brands that lies in the inbetween area, of skin care and skin medication.

I was disappointed with this product :( My acne is not very bad luckily-just a few zits usually around that time of the month, and i do have an oily t-zone. But it seems like using this cleanser actually makes the oiliness worse, and I have been breaking out more so than usual!
I paid about $15 for this, but it was on sale (otherwise I would not have gotten this cleanser in the first place).
It could be just me, so I would recommend trying this out if nothing is working for you, but all in all I will not be buying this again!

Vichy Deep cleansing Gel wasn't worth the price. It did do the job, but I didn't find anything in partial that I really loved about it. Wouldn't buy it again.

Vichy claims to be the #1 in skincare. I don't think that this product measures up to all the ads they spent trying to prove that is works so well for oily, imperfect skin. I used it for about 6 months, and I really didn't see that much of an improvement. It is very much, just AN AVERAGE CLEANSER. It does smell nice and is a green nice colour, but I find that they put many chemicals in their list of ingredients. I did buy it on sale, but I would never pay the full price for it. It's not worth it.

Doesn't make my skin oily, and reduces redness.
