Move over swiffer

Okay so the first thing I liked right away was that the slip for this is removable and machine washable which is great for the environment instead of creating constant waste. This really gives a nice clean and finish, not like a where it looks clean but it actually feels clean. I also love that I can make my own floor solution to my liking and add my own scent mixture! Awesome product and definitely recommend!

J'ai reçu ce produit en cadeau afin de le tester et j'ai été surprise de son efficacité. Je tiens à dire que cette vadrouille est facile à utiliser et bon pour tout les types de plancher. Première, il faut remplir le réservoir avec de l'eau et le produit nettoyant de notre choix et l'enclancher a la recharge de la moppe et le tour est joué. Chez moi j'ai des planchers de céramique et en bois, en plus d'avoir un chien. Ce qui rend le nettoyage des planchers un peu difficile, mais avec cette moppe je peux nettoyer sans m'arrêter pas besoin de changer l'eau , elle me laisse les planchers propres et brillant. Elle ramasse toute la poussière sur son passage et sa tête pivotante aide à nettoyer une plus grande surface. De plus, j'adore le fait que la serpillière va à la laveuse et est réutilisable.

Fast and easy spray mop!

I've tried several different types of floor mops before, but few compare to Vileda's ProMist Max Spray Mop. With a 180 degree rotating head, the mop glides easily over all surfaces and lifts dirt like magic. The microfibre pad is machine washable and easy to remove. The refillable bottle also allows you to use your favourite cleaning solution.

I would definitely recommend this mop to my friends and family. I plan on tossing out my old mops and using the Vileda exclusively.

2 in 1 spray and mop combo

Before I tried the Vileda Promist Max Spray Mop, I used to take a swiffer and a spray bottle and manually spray the floor and clean the floor at the same time. After having received the Vileda Promist Max Spray Mop complimentary for testing purposes, it was like someone had read my mind and built this cleaning device for me! It was pretty easy to figure out how to use, but when you lock in the bottle of cleaning solution, make sure that it snaps or clicks into place.
It's a bit bigger and clunkier than my other floor mops which makes it a bit trickier to swerve around some furniture, but the 180 swivel makes it easier to manoeuvre.
I find that it does pick up dirt and grime, but don't expect it to pick up hair or other heavier dirt. So I had to take a dust pan and clean up the particles separately.
Its definitely more convenient and easy to use. The trigger to spray the cleaning solution is pretty fun to use. However, the spray can shoot about 1 foot outwards, so just be sure to not spray your appliances or furniture by accident. Instead, you can use tiny sprays instead of a long spray.
Overall, I believe it is a handy product to have around the condo and it does a good job with cleaning up dirt and grime.

Amazing mop

Vileda's done it again; a great cleaning product and some noted improvements over their original design for their spray mop. If I compare it directly to the original design, there are some differences to take note of if you're considering upgrading from that.

- Capacity of liquid is bigger, went up from 500ml to 700ml.
- It now has a foam piece on the handle, so if you lean it against a wall it no longer slides or falls as easily.
- The big one is that the pad can be flipped to use both sides!
- Slightly longer.
- Design is more professional looking.
- Better cloth pad.

One change that won't be liked by everyone is that the new 'flippable' pad means that it's a lot more difficult to use your own or alternate brand pads than with the original design. They do sell extra pads and you can definitely make do with one, it's not a dealbreaker for me, but something to keep in mind.

It can be fiddly to take the cloth pad on and off, requiring opening some velcro and pulling the other end and that's something to keep in mind if you have a disability in your hands, you might struggle with this compared to the old model. However, the area for filling your cleaning liquid (2 teaspoons and water) is very easy to lift off (press the button) and replace with no problems.

When it comes to everything else I adore this mop! It has the same great cleaning power as the original mop from Vileda that I currently use. I like to mop the kitchen and house and then change the pad before mopping the bathroom, that way I'm getting a clean pad for the dirtiest room and not dragging the germs into the rest of the house.

With the Promist Max, it's not even necessary! I can simple use one side for the rest of the house and flip it over for the bathroom, absolutely genius. The cloth itself is a big improvement. It's much thicker, firmer and has slightly rougher 'lines' on it that help scrub up any dirt without scratching your floor. With the old mop I would often have to scrub quite hard and repeat to get sticky or stained stuff up, with this I can move it at a gentle pace and repeat anywhere from 1-5 times and the sticky stain comes up. You can see it slowly lessen each time. With regular dirt, it comes up right away and my floors look fantastic.

One of the things that, in my opinion, make this Vileda mop much better than competitors is the fact that they aren't trying to fleece you. It's a fair price, for a great mop and you don't need to buy anything else on top. You use your own cleaning fluid, the pad comes with it and that's it. No more buying endless pads and 'refills', it really is the most cost economic vs good clean option.

I am very happy that I had the opportunity to try this product.
The mop comes with an attachable bottle where you put the cleaning product that you use. It is very easy to clean in corners. I was surprise that it twisted easily.
The best is that you don't need to keep buying pads for this mop. It has a reusable pad that you can clean in the washing machine. I am really excited with mop. I would definitely buy it again and i will also recommended to my friends. Thanks to Family Rated to give me the opportunity to try this product.

Floor cleaning made simpler

The Vileda Promist Max Spray Mop was love at first sight for me. The liquid container attached to the mop seemed to me like a great idea when I first saw it and it did not disappoint.

It makes everything much more simple and saves you a lot of time since you can skip the steps of having to fill up a bucket of water and wring the mop. Now instead you only have to add any cleaning product mixed with water to the container and spray as you go! Voila!

I also love that the microfibre part of the mop is washable which is more ecofriendly than throwing away a towel after each use.

Overall I am pretty pleased with this product. :-)

Amazing Product!

I was so excited to hear that ChickAdvisor and Vileda would be sending this product to me for free for my review. I even forwarded the message to my husband to let him know this product was coming and to make sure he signed for it upon it's arrival.

When I opened the packaging I was surprised and happy to see how light and compact the product was. It's easy to store in the closet and wont hurt your back when using because of it's light weight. After reading the instructions I was even happier. It's so easy to use. It has a swivel head which made it easy to reach the corners of the room and smaller spaces.

I loved that I could use any cleaning product solution I wanted and that I wasn't confined to using a specific solution. I was blow away by the price of this item as well. It's so affordable, so easy to use and a must have for any home that has hard wood floors or tiles.

Super convenient, takes up little space

I received this free to try.
This mop has a microfibre mop head which is great for wiping hardwood floors. The liquid canister is easy to attach to the mop. It is very lightweight and takes up a little more space than a regular mop. What I love is how convenient it is to wipe up the floor by just filling the canister instead of having to get drag out the old mop and filling up a bucket. And you can fill the liquid canister with water or a mix with your own favourite cleaner (no wax products). I just keep it nearby in the closet, and whenever I have a spill or need to clean the kitchen floor, I simply fill the canister and spray and wipe! It makes it easy to clean floors right away whenever there's a mess.
