Great online grocery service

I would definitely use this grocery service again! It was easy to use. I was able to choose from many delivery times including next day delivery. There were a couple of items that weren’t available, but I was notified right away before I placed my order. My driver called me to let me know he was in the area earlier than my delivery time. When the driver brought my order he confirmed that he did a temperature check on my frozen products and he was wearing gloves and a mask. I was impressed!

Great new delivery service option

Chickadvisor gave me a voucher for a discount to try out this new grocery delivery service and it was a great incentive.

Ordering online was quite easy and there were lots of available delivery dates and times. I could order from Sobeys, Farm Boy, and well.ca in the same order. I was able to edit my order until the night before which was super helpful. The delivery fee was $7.99 which is less than other grocery or chain stores.

The downside was that quite a few fresh produce products I wanted were unavailable. The flip side is that the website was updated to show these products were not available so I could plan accordingly and didn't need to deal with receiving and returning unwanted substitutions. Sobeys had some good sales but their groceries are a different price point than other stores.

The driver was professional and friendly when he called me to let me know his ETA and about contactless delivery. He rung the bell after offloading all groceries and appeared professionally dressed also wearing his mask and gloves appropriately.

The company has their own truck too. It appeared to be a reefer truck but I'm just guessing.

All items ordered arrived safely and the order was fulfilled correctly. The produce was all fresh and the perishables all had decent expiration dates. The frozen items were still frozen.

One bonus was that they had duck eggs which my local Sobeys doesn't carry so I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't need to venture out to another grocery store to find them.

Easy to order groceries no need to leave the house

So as soon as I got into the ChickAdvisor campaign to sample the Voila by Sobeys online ordering tool that I had received a discount as part of a Product Review Club offer, I figured out a date that I need groceries by and I signed up with a new account and checked out how it works.Then I went in and I put in a date that I need groceries by and it asked the time and I did that. Then I went on to add products to the cart. Its pretty easy to navigate the site and the product has images and good description as far as how many come i.e. like 5 avocados or pounds 2lb bag of oranges.I put in all the items I needed and proceeded to checkout and that was pretty straight forwards, also got confirmation emails about the order and details like time and date when it will come. On the day of the order, the driver called me ahead of time about 10 minutes and told me that he will be there in 8-10 minutes, and that he was going to put all the bags at the front door and ring the doorbell and move 6ft as per the safety protocol and that he is wearing a mask. When I opened the door everything was good and he kept his distance, told me that they checked the products that they are all there and I did too and thats all I got my grocery without leaving the house. Their customer service is great as one of the product I got wasnt good so I wrote them on the chat and everything got cleared and I got a refund right away. Easy, fast and great service.

Sobey's can be expensive.

I checked this site out but found products to be pricey. If you are looking for grocery delivery instacart.ca is a good option. Non member delivery charge is about 9.99 but i pay yearly fee of $99 for free unlimited delivery. New store options added all the time. In my area I can currently order from Fortinos, Walmart, shoppers drug mart, bulk barn, costco, m&m;food market, staples and the den (pet products). I find this site to be a better deal.

Easy to use

I used a coupon code to try Voila and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly, the site was easy to use, produce was fresh and convenient order times . There some things that were not available that I wanted to order. Would use again.

Great, Easy and Quick

I received a discount of $25.00 if I spent $100 in groceries. I created an account, and started the online shopping. The website was easy to use as the pictures are great and you can see the products and the pricing easily. Adding to the cart was easy. I was able to select a day and time, then next day. Once my grocery order hit $100.00 and I was done purchasing what I needed, I clicked on the check out, added my discount code and paid the difference on a credit card. It was as easy as that. The next day, I received a phone call from the driver saying he would be arriving within 10 mins. He was right on time in the 1 hour window that I chose. AND Voila, my groceries appeared at my door. The driver was pleasant, the truck looked great and I could see that there was a large freezer part in the back for the frozen foods. The groceries were already bagged, and were brought in a rigid container. The driver put them down, stepped back, (social distancing is in place), and waited for me to take the bags. I will be ordering from Sobey's again and using their Voila service.

good but expensive

I was super excited to selected by @chickadvisor to try a new grocery service - Voila by Sobeys.
I got a $25 discount coupon on a $100 grocery bill.
It was an easy, smooth and a very efficient process from ordering via their website to the groceries getting delivered right outside my home.
Everything was nicely packed and handled. I was hesitant to order fresh produce online but Voila by Sobeys surprised me, everything was super fresh. Absolutely no issues with expiry dates. The delivery was quick and everything was done professionally.
I had to pay a delivery fee of $7.99.
The only downside was the cost. I felt it is more expensive as compared to the other grocery stores I usually shop from.

The products were so fresh and picked as I would pick in person. I would definitely be using Sobeys again and have recommended to my family and friends:)
The website is also very user friendly and allows me to edit my order in case I forgot something. Also, did I mention the delivery charge is cheaper then it’s competitors.

Very convenient

It was so convenient to order online and receive the orders at my front door when i wanted them. I liked how the delivery team kept me updated and gave me an eta before arriving. The produce came fresh and chilled.

So efficient and fresh!

Since the quarantine period began, we have tried a number of grocery delivery services. Voila is now in the list of our favourites! Selecting our grocery items was easy and clearly showed which items were out of stock for our chosen delivery date. There were no surprises when the order arrived - everything we asked for and that was "in stock" arrived with our delivery. The individual who delivered our groceries called 10 minutes before arriving, brought all of them to the door on time, and bagged them appropriately. He was wearing a mask and gloves the entire time. Refrigerated and frozen items were ice cold and very fresh.

The one thing we thing could be improved is the variety of items and brands available. They definitely do not offer everything that is available in store, and options are limited when the one brand is sold out. More variety would earn this service a spot way ahead of their competitors!
