Site needs work. Hard to find regular items.

I am an online shopper and have been since before the pandemic. I live Sobeys so was excited to try Voila but unfortunately getting the items I regularly find in store was difficult and not worth the effort. If I have to go in for some things I may as well go in for all.

It took longer to pick up my order than it would have for me to simply walk around the store and get it myself. I was in the parking lot waiting for an hour. There was only 1 guy working and was very behind. This system was very disorganized and cannot compare to the Superstore’s level of service. Will never use Voila again!

Amazing service, with great produce items. They let you know what items are not available for delivery times. When you subscribe to the monthly fee for delivery, all of a sudden produce items are not available on your days. It’s pretty ridiculous!

I haven't even bothered to use my $10 discount code yet, having read there is also a $4 pick-up fee. This isn't good value when I'm actively trying to find ways to save my family money.

When I'm done being annoyed, I will use my $6 discount (minimum $75 purchase, ahem) on my next big shop and walk away feeling a little irked.

I placed an order that included cleaners and food. You should never bag food with a cleaner but Voila did so and a non-aerosol cleaner was bagged with heavy cans and drinks and broke open. The bag it was in leaked all the way from outside the front door, into the office, all over the carpet, my pants and ruined my boots and I was offered a $10 voucher for my troubles. I will be going back to Grocery Gateway as they bag in their vehicle at your door.

Cannot deliver in some areas

Sadly, I could not complete this offer because Voila by Sobeys does not deliver in my area. I tried inquiring over the phone as well but they are limited on shipping to specific places at the moment.

Expensive

this one is a no go for me. After receive a free voucher to try this service I was so excited. Unfortunately I was dispointed by the costs of groceries. I am very aware of produce costs and the prices here are way to high. I had to decide to opt out of this because I was not about to spend so much money for half of what I normally get. The site is easy to navigate at least. Their promotions are pretty much regular price everywhere else. I cant comment on the quality since I did not go ahead with the order.

I can see the appeal

I enjoyed trying out Voila by Sobeys grocery delivery. Their produce was very fresh and my order was delivered swiftly. However, I don't see myself using the service too often as the $7.99 delivery fee adds up quickly. I would rather make the trip to Sobeys in person. I wish they could offer free shipping when you spend above a certain threshold. But I can see the appeal for other consumers.

I enjoyed the experience but still prefer to go to the store in person. It's a great service espicially during this pandemic. Good service for seniors or people with no car.

Not worth it

I got this offer. But i kinda regretted it later on because i had to spend minimum $100 for this to work. And even after the discount from chickadvisor my bill was high. Its very expensive grocery. I still prefer walmart to get my groceries as its much cheaper. Will not recommend.
