Fast, accurate Voila by Sobeys delivery to my home

I received a product code for $25 off $100 for Voila by sobeys. I was willing to try it as I previously had tried out curbside collection of groceries at another chain which I found super easy. The flyer prices for Sobeys did not exactly match the website which was a bit frustrating and I am more of a value shopper so was not willing to overpay for items just because I had a coupon code and had to get to $100. My husband was impressed with the amount of items I received for $100 from Sobeys which has always had good quality produce items. There were no substitutions that needed to be made (unlike my previous experiences with another banner) and the Voila delivery man assured me he double checked all my items and brought them in bags to my door, gave me a courtesy call 5-10 minutes before arriving to ask if there was any special instructions. He unfortunately arrived in the middle of a downpour but had everything ready to go by the time the rain let up, was masked and very courteous. I enjoyed my experience with Voila and if I had a larger order or required quality produce may be willing to try again. 7.99 for delivery would normally be out of my frugal price range but the process was very painless and would recommend this service to people who do not mind spending a little extra to get special service. Ordered Friday evening and time slots available for earlier Sunday were convenient and dit my schedule.

So i got a bonus offer of spend 100 save 25, still got a deal even though delivery fee was 7.99. So got 17.00 dollars for free.first score.
Second score decided to ask elderly mom what she wanted, she gave me ger list and shopped for her. Food was delivered to her door and she quite enjoyed ut as she thaught it was a nice gift and surprise. Score. Save on tine score.
Once in awhile to splurge and have someone else do the work for you is great, especially since we r all on stricter budgets.

What can be inlroved on ease if navigatingg up, sales items should come up first qhem using search feature, also should have weekly flyer on app u scroll through it select items u want an automatically placed in ur cart.

Overall would use voila again if got another promo or its a busy week esepcially wehn mom wants sonething partucular and do t have time to go grab it fir her since we live an hour apart.

A great way to get your groceries!

I enjoyed using Voila by Sobeys. I received a coupon code for $25 off a $100 purchase. I found the website to be pretty easy to use and nagivate around. I could easily find the products that were on sale and choose from different categories. The prices overall were pretty decent. (I found that Some items were abit overpriced compared to the stores I usually shop at). My order came on time and was fresh product and I would overall recommend that you try out this grocery service!

Easy, affordable, and quick

Voila by Sobeys is simple to use. The program offers great sale items and even carries Farmboy products. The delivery charge of $7.99 is very reasonable and comparable to other grocery delivery services. Unfortunately some staple items were unavailable, such as tomatoes and cucumbers. Delivery was great. The driver was on time, friendly, and professional. I received a call 15 mins before to let me know my order would be arriving soon. After receiving my order I was sent a thank you and welcome email. After reading the welcome email I came to learn that the warehouse uses robots to pick and pack orders. Due to this fact alone I will not use the service again, simply because I am not comfortable with supporting a company that employs technology to replace humans.

No much different from others

I have received from chickadvisors a $25 off on a $100 shopping test. Besides the inability to change the automatic postal code inserted all was seem less. A bit annoyed by the delivery charge of $7.99. Product variety was limited vs store. But all was clean and reliable.

A great option instead of in person shopping

If you love shopping at Sobeys then this is a great alternative for not having to go in the stores. It’s an effective service and I would recommend it! I don’t typically shop at their grocery store so I doubt I would do this again because I love getting the best deals for my groceries and would prefer that over delivery

Really good experience

I tried Voila as part of a review and I was especially excited after all the positive reviews. I want to start by saying that the process was really easy and the driver was extremely professional. They call before they arrive and do a temp check on your items and make sure the items are good before giving them too you. You can also check expiry dates, and only one item was a problem in my order.

The pricing at these stores are generally higher so for me it took time to look through and see what I deemed an acceptable price for the items on my shopping list. I did found promos and got some great prices on certain items, sad it limits you and I could not get more from that section.

The delivery fee is completely acceptable and I wish this service had been available sooner! Maybe they can order a monthly subscription or some type of referral system. I really liked that that you can basically shop different stores like FreshCo, Well.ca and Farmboy all in one place.

not bad

I received a voucher for Voila by Sobey's. The website is easy to use and placing an order was super easy.
The main issue I experienced was that there was not much fresh produce to select from, most items were "sold out". The little produce I did receive was great! It was fresh and good sized. The other thing is they have a "bag program". You need to provide them with the same amount of plastic bags that they used for your order or there is a charge per bag.
I am definitely going to give it another chance and hope they have a better selection.

Would Recommend

I received a discount code from ChickAdvisor to try Voila by Sobeys grocery delivery. As with anything, there are pros and cons. Luckily, there are only a few cons to this service, all of which are not of great significance. One of the negatives would be the pricing - this has nothing to do with this specific service provided by Sobeys but rather with the chain itself. Sobeys is not the place I typically shop for groceries, as the price points are a little high. I can get the exact same products for much cheaper elsewhere. Another one is that the curbside delivery is not available in Ontario. Ideally, they would have all options available in all of the areas they service. However, I am sure in time they will have this option for Ontario. Lastly, I was very disappointed in my hamburger buns! Two days after receiving my order, my son ate one of the hamburger buns and it was moldy! To be fair though, you could not see the mold on the outside of the bun - it was on the inside, so this would not be a fault of the company per se. All of these cons - though valid - are quite minuscule in the grand scheme of things. Especially for a brand new service provided by this company.

Now for the pros. The website is extremely easy to use and navigate, quite user friendly. Signing up for an account was very quick and easy, which I can appreciate. The produce was all fresh and the cold things were cold - I was advised they temperature check the food which is fantastic - no melting of frozen products or wilting veggies! The delivery guy was provided with large bins and a dolly which made the delivery much easier (I have had grocery deliveries in the past and the guy had to strong arm all my groceries upstairs as I live in a building and ended up just dropping them all at my door). Lastly, and the BIGGEST pro of this service, was the gentleman I interacted with that delivered my groceries. He called me 15 minutes prior to delivery to advise he was on his way. He was EXTREMELY polite, with a positive attitude (you could hear the smile in his voice over the phone). When he arrived, he was very gentle with my groceries when placing them in front of my door. He asked me if it was my first delivery and then walked me through what they do with every order. He made sure I was happy with my delivery and even offered to wait for me to check over everything.

Overall, this is definitely one of the best grocery delivery services out there. I can truly appreciate the extra steps they take to make the experience enjoyable for the customer. If Sobeys is your go to place for groceries, I would say you're going to love this service, hands down. If not, I still say try it out as it was an extremely pleasant experience overall!

The product and service delivery is on time

It’s a great way to shop grocery online, the delivery is on time. item in my shopping list are all fresh and they make sure they check the temperature they explain well how they process your grocery items.I will definitely use voila again.
