Too Good to Be True

I received a discount as part of a Product Review Club offer. This delivery service certainly delivers high-quality products, especially the produce. They also have plenty of sales on their website that is competitive with other grocery delivery services. However, I had booked my delivery time for a 1-hour slot, and not only did they message me hours earlier that they were in the neighborhood, but they parked their truck in front of my home for a good hour and a half before my slot, and I was forced to call them from complaints from my landlord, and get my stuff delivered when I was in the middle of other things, way before my time slot. Another downfall is that their dairy and bread products have poor expiry dates. Apparently, they only guarantee a 7-day freshness date so don't expect your eggs, milk, or yogurt (especially) to last very long! I would not recommend this service to others.

Not worth it for our family personally

The Voila service by sobeys is a good service. We have been ordering delivery from Walmart for several months since the pandemic started and I found this a great opportunity to try another service, especially being limited to options in our town. Voila did very well when it came to service. Shopper came to our door and greet us, socially distanced with gloves and mask. Very friendly! Our other service does not provide this. The price is fair at $7 for delivery. Products at sobeys are generally more expensive, so that was a downside for us, however they do carry some higher end brand that are harder to find at more budget stores. The biggest challenge keeping us from switching to them is the ability to Update your cart throughout the week. At Walmart, you can do this. I haven’t this this choice available anywhere else. So in summary, great service, but overall not a fit for our Particular needs.

I went online and was surprised that there were so many amazing available times the next day for the groceries to be delivered !

I found the Voila website super easy to use and there were some pretty amazing deals as well .....

I picked 9-10 am window and I received an email at 8 am saying the groceries were picked and on the way !

At 9:01 AM he was at my door !!!! what amazing service, the driver confirmed that he did a temperature check and all groceries were in stock and shipped ...

Who wants to go to the store when life is this easy ??? This will definitely be my go to from now on ...... WOW

Good service

I was very excited to try out Voila by Sobeys because of the ongoing pandemic. This was a wonderful time for them to launch because so many families would prefer to do their grocery shopping online and avoid stores. Overall, I liked the service. However, there were a lot of items that were not available online that are usually well stocked in all Sobeys stores. Sobeys is also usually a higher price point than other grocery stores but I do not mind paying the difference as I can do the shopping from the comfort of my home. The real home run was the delivery. It was very fast and the the delivery driver communicated very well. I will say though, the delivery fee was a little high. $7.99 is a lot (especially if you are just ordering for 1-2 people) but hopefully Sobeys will run promos in the future which waive the delivery fee or offer discounts. Alternatively, they should launch a premium service that waives delivery fees if you pay for an annual membership. Generally, I am impressed with this service. I did receive $25 off my first order as part of the Product Review Club.

Needs work

I found voila extremely disappointing to use as their was lack of options in products, price points were high and I struggled to fulfill the required amount. I definitely felt I didn’t save money or feel like it was convenient and it left a sour taste. Product was fresh and on time for delivery.

Great when you need some help!

I was selected by @chickadvisor to try out the new online grocery and delivery service by @voila.ca

I received a discount coupon from @chickadvisor and wasn’t sure if I would be able to use it and then both of my kiddos got sick and my husband was stuck at work and it was an absolute miracle!

I ordered my groceries on Sunday morning for delivery Monday morning. I kept thinking of things to add to my order and I was able to update and revise it all day Sunday. The driver called when he was 15 min away so I knew to go put on a bra (I’m exhausted) and my delivery apt was from 9-10 and he showed up at 9:15, out the groceries on my doorstep and explained to me that they were all at the right temperature.

I doubt that I will use this all of the time because there’s less selection and I’m sure things could be cheaper if I shop around, but when I’m in a bind or have a busy week I will definitely use this service again.

Great service

the website was easy to navigate, lots of variety. Thoroughly enjoyed the that everything came from a warehouse where less people have the chance to touch things. The driver was super professional and respectful with regards to the large dog on my property. The only downside, I wish there were more farmboy options. Will definitely try again!

Nice customer service.

Because of the pandemic I think a lot of people would like to do their grocery shopping online. And though I tried and liked this service, there were quite a few things that I didn't like. Like navigating the website and product availability. Sometimes I would add some products , only to be told at the checkout that it's unavailable. But I liked their customer service. They were very polite and helpful. The prices of some products seems a little expensive but it still saves me from a trip to the grocery store. Also delivery was very effectively done. I had some delivery problems before from other retailers but Sobeys had none of those issues. If I can't go to the store, then I would Idefinitely use their services, but for now I think I am going to do my shopping in - store.

Great, safe grocery service

I had the opportunity to try out the new Voila by Sobeys grocery delivery service For free through the Product Review Club.

I have nothing but good things to say about this service. I ordered the night before I needed food and it was easy to choose a short time window for delivery First thing the next morning. Huge selection of foods, and because it’s coming directly from the warehouse, the stock online is the stock they have - no surprises upon delivery. I also the idea of lower-contact service. Items aren’t a grocery store Being touched by anyone before they get to me.

The driver called me about 10min before arrival to confirm is location and left the bags on my porch as a requested. Because it was my first Time using the service, he quickly explained the colour-coded bags (frozen items marked separately from fresh and dry goods) I loved this feature! You can quickly get the frozen stuff in the freezer first while unpacking. Also the bags themselves were sturdy and reusable.
I got everything in my order and the produce and meat was fresh.
I would highly recommend Voila by Sobeys to anyone looking for a really good delivery service.
