Diapers - Disposable Diapers Reviews

When it comes to diapers, parents quickly discover that one size does not fit all.  Humans have been using diapers of one sort or another for centuries, but it was only in the late 1940s and early 1950s that several mothers independently invented early versions of what we now know as disposable nappies.  While cloth diapers are still in use and praised as an eco-friendlier option, most people opt for the convenience of a single-use product.

ChickAdvisor members praise Pampers diapers for everyday but reach for Huggies Little Swimmers at pool time.  Other major brands in the doodoo-disposal industry include Luvs and Teddy's Choice (available at Real Canadian Superstore/Extra Foods).

Lidl nappies

I used to use lidls nappies all the time and loved them especially for the price but since they have changed their brand I don't find them as effective as they where. My daughter is 2 and leaks through them. 😔

The inside of the diaper is quilted and so soft. No artificial scents. Adorable patterns on the diaper! Excellent leak protection. My only complaint would be the packaging. It’s not very eco friendly to have them in a thin cardboard box AND a plastic wrapper.

They changed their diapers! I used them while raising each of my 3 children, and for YEARS have recommended Luvs diapers to all new parents I spoke with. Now I was using them while raising my baby granddaughter, and they changed them -- now they don't absorb, they feel cheap...

I love these diapers for my kids and have used them for about 5 years now throughout all my kids. I didn't use them for the newborn stage because I found another brand to be better. But after no more blow outs these diapers are the best price, quality, and amount you can get.

We swapped to these from Parents Choice and they have been outstanding! My son hasn't had any leaks or blow outs and they don't leave a nasty rash on him. They are a great value without the hefty price tag. I love the designs on them also.

I love these diapers. I think it's great that they put Mickey Mouse on the front, makes it fun and cute. They offer great leak protection and you know when they need to be changed because there is a wetness indicator line on the front. They are soft and lightweight which helps...

We are loving these diapers. The fit and softness cannot be any better. When baby is on the move, we are happy to note that the diaper stays in place. During hot summers, sometimes just a little shirt is worn, and these diapers feel so soft,

These nappies really do help keep a dry night. Haven't had a single morning where bedsheets or clothes are wet through due to leakage. A brilliant nappy and so affordable

We have always used pampers nappies for my little girl but have recently upgraded to the premium protection nappy pants. They are incredibly soft and very absorbent. We haven’t had any leaks or nappy rash since swapping to these ones.

I bought these thinking the “cooling sensation” would help my toddler potty train. Made absolutely no difference for her. She would pee and couldn’t tell the difference. Regular pulls up do the same justice!!

I purchase these diapers because you can get more for cheaper than more expensive brands. They are durable and can hold over night. I never have to worry about leakage throughout the night.

Our 11y old was hospitalized and had to wear diapers. When he came home he has had to stay in bed so we got him these diapers. We chose them because of the very good price especially since he needs adult size and they are expensive - major brands cost $1 or more EACH...

Huggies little movers are all I have used since my son has been able to fit into them! So, from size 3 to 6 (which is covering a 46 lb butt, by the way, at 2.5) Huggies have been our favourite brand of diaper to use. We have experienced no rashes and appreciate that the diapers...

My little girl used to wake up soaked every morning from head to toes. With huggies over nights she wakes up dry. Wr even use these diapers in the day time as well. We've tried many different brands but huggies overnights are by far the best. They're a little pricey but its well...
