Too much going on in this place

It was cold, It was between meetings and I wanted somewhere warm to sit down with a coffee and relax. I was on Queen West just west of Bathurst and I spotted this place on a corner. I walked in and was confused. Was it a hair salon? A clothing store? A cafe? It felt like they were trying so hard to be everything that they failed at being the one thing needed most in that area. A coffee shop. I looked over what was available, wasn't impressed and left. The tables and chairs did not look comfortable and I just needed to relax. It is sad because it is the only cafe in that area but it failed to impress. I ended up walking to Ossington and Queen and going to a chain coffee place.

Rather sad when an area that used to be known for comfy coffee places has become so full of itself it has no idea what to be.
