My kids are always wanting ramen noodles for a quick snack and I just can’t bring myself to buy them, so we settle for these. The kids love them! They have great flavour and are still quite inexpensive to buy. I even love these noodles... +

They have great flavour and are still quite inexpensive to buy. I even love these noodles, especially with some added green onion and thinly sliced celery or peppers. It’s delicious. -
Vachon 1/2 Jos Louis Cakes
I loved these as a kid, but apparently tastebuds change. A lot. lol. I find the cake part to be dry and tasteless and the chocolate coating is too thick and flavourless. Basically all of the flavour comes from that sandy textured filling. My husband... +

It’s just like butter. No really, it is! At first, the transition to dairy free cooking was difficult, but earth balance definitely made that much easier for me. Whether I’m adding it to rice, baked goods or drizzled on my veggies, this dairy free spread has won a place in my fridge and my recipes. I would absolutely recommend this product. I actually just purchased the whipped organic version last night and can’t wait to try it. So far, though, the soy and soy free versions have been a huge hit! -

We try to keep some of these easy microwave dinners in the freezer for our picky teenager and for someone who is picky about food, it amazes me that my son will eat frozen entrees like they’re five star meals. Well, for a frozen meal lovin’ person, this was five stars in his book. And he has tried them all. Seriously. If it has noodles and cheese, he has tried it.
He loved the chicken bites and said that it was the perfect amount of cheese. His only complaint was that it needed just a touch more noodles, as it shrunk down to nothing once it was cooked. All in all, I’d buy them when they go on sale, but at $4 a pop, it definitely isn’t value for your money. Not bad for a once in a while kind of meal, though.

President’s Choice Honey Hoisin Stir-Fry Sauce
Great in stir fry, on shrimp and chicken, or as part of a base for egg foo yung gravy! Cant beat the price, either. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends.

Lee Kum Kee Oyster Flavored Sauce
I’m convinced that oyster sauce could and should be used on everything. If not for its high sodium count, I probably would use it on everything. ;) This sauce is amazing in rice dishes, stir fry, egg foo yung and even egg rolls! It’s even good... +

This sauce is amazing in rice dishes, stir fry, egg foo yung and even egg rolls! It’s even good on green beans. My husband laughs because I buy this stuff two at time, but he wouldn’t be laughing if I ran out, though. ;) This is an absolute must in my dishes and I use it about 2-3x per week.
