I went into Sephora looking for a good mascara for my wedding. My eyelashes are fussy. Waterproof mascara doesn't even always stay on my lashes without flaking or smudging under my eyes. I was looking for a good, strong mascara that showed that I actually had eyelashes.
I went in and explained my problem as well as what I was looking for. The Sephora employee strongly recommended this particular mascara. So I made the purchase and went home to give it a try.
I was so beyond disappointed. I could definitely NOT wear this mascara to my wedding! Although it says that it stays on for workouts and only comes off with hot water, this is not the case. I worked out several times with this on and by the end it was already coming off in messy clumps! It also didn't add much volume or length to my eyelashes either. To me, this was such a massive fail of a product. Thirty bucks I can't get back!

So here's the thing: While I notice a difference in my skin when I'm not wearing this moisturizer, I feel it was still your average moisturizer.
The nice thing about this moisturizer is that it isn't too oily and doesn't leave my skin any more greasy than it would be on a daily basis. So I don't have any more breakouts than I would normally have. The plus side of this moisturizer is that it has SPF 15 in it. And for those of you with pale skin like myself, you know how important wearing sunscreen is on a daily basis. It's nice to have it built into a moisturizer so that I don't have to add it on after already lathering on a moisturizer. Who wants to feel like you're wearing a mask of makeup all day on your face?
It has a nice scent to it, but it seems like just your average moisturizer. It didn't really make me hear bells and whistles after six weeks of wearing it.

I have a tough time finding a good mascara. And when I don't wear mascara, I look like I don't have any eyelashes at all. In fact, I think the only other mascara that I've tried and liked was Benefit's "They're Real." However, because it isn't waterproof, I look like a racoon by the end of the day.
"Waterproof" is rarely "waterproof" on my eyelashes, and "smudge-proof" is rarely "smudge-proof" on my eyelashes. Mascara just doesn't stay put on my eyelashes.
However, this two-step mascara has been a life saver!
I like how both steps are in the same tube and not two separate tubes. The first thing you do is put the primer on. After that, you put several coats of the mascara on (unless you've been blessed with long lashes). This mascara stays on! It doesn't matter if it's been on for over 12 hours. It's still there with no smudges or blackness under your lower lashes. It adds volume and length, which is what my lashes desperately need!

I apply lip balm like it's going out of style. In fact, there is not a day (or night!) that I don't apply lip balm.
I used to be a Lipsmackers fan, but that was years ago. I have since ended that relationship and moved on.
Eos has become my "go to" for lip balm. And the fact that it is made up of organic ingredients, makes it all the better. It goes on smooth, doesn't look glossed up on my lips, and stays put while I'm drinking water throughout the day. It's also the perfect scent to apply after brushing your teeth (we all know fruit and mint do NOT go together).
I have been using the same Eos lip balm since January and it's now August (and there's still lots of life left!).
I have no plans of living this brand behind!

I've been looking for an aluminum free deodorant for what seems like FOREVER!
And, I've FINALLY found one! Every aluminum free deodorant I have tried in the past has dried out my armpits and has required frequent reapplication. I also found these deodorants didn't mask body odor.
The best part? It supports a local shop. And, it's "hot yoga approved" (I also speak from experience).
It's a little different than the traditional deodorant. It comes in a little round container and you need to apply it with your finger.
I LOVE the scent! The scent is made from essential oils (lavender, tea tree, lemongrass, and mint). At first when I read the list of essential oils in the ingredients, I wasn't too sure how that scent would be. In fact, I kind of cringed when I saw the list. However, I was wrong and I LOVE the scent!

The best thing about this body wash is definitely it's scent! I LOVE the smell!! You can smell the cocao the instant you open the bottle! In fact, that's all I can smell once I lather up! It has such a heavenly scent.
My skin feels silky and smooth after getting out of the shower. No dryness whatsoever.
I've tried the rose scented body wash, but wasn't a fan. The scent just bothered me after a few showers.
