My daughter has frequent ear infections and she had one this week from spending so much time in the pool. It was a great opportunity to try Tylenol Easy Dissolve Packs. She usually uses the chewable variety but she was open minded to try this format. She sat patiently while I poured the easy dissolve powder onto her tongue. The quantity of powder was fine for an 8 year old girl. Her first reaction was it’s a little different with respect to getting used to the format, but she loves the flavour. She said the easy dissolve powder has no bitter aftertaste like the chewable tablets, which is great. She also loved the berry flavour overall. It worked quickly to relieve her earache pain and she was able to fall asleep and stay asleep without needing another dose. I think it’s an easy switch. My only complaint is I needed scissors to cut the packet open (I couldn’t find a place where I could tear by hand). I could see this as being annoying when trying to give the dose in the middle of the night when I’m half asleep. But overall, I think this is a great variation of an excellent product. -

My boyfriend tried Irish Spring Active Scrub and loves it! The scent is amazing and keeps him smelling fresh throughout the day. He's never used an exfoliating product before and it's been a game changer for him. He was really happy how it makes his skin look and feel, in that it's smoother and more even toned. It also didn't dry out his skin at all, but made it feel nicely moisturized. Overall, he liked it very much and will be using it again. -

Okay, so I have been hesitant to try a cleansing oil for the simple reason that my skin is already super oily and prone to breakouts. I read all the hype that like dissolves like, meaning that a cleansing oil is actually better at cleaning makeup and oil from your skin than a typical face wash, but I was still very skeptical. Now I’m a believer! Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil is a complete game changer and one of the best new products I have tried in a very long time. It’s very simple to use and a little product goes a long way. It completely dissolved both makeup and oiliness quickly and effectively. And the best part, after drying your skin, there is not a single trace of oily residue left behind. I was completely amazed! Now my skin is super hydrated, soft, and looks absolutely amazing! I can’t get over the quick results. Everything about this product (apart from knowing how to pronounce the name!) is just fantastic. I wish I discovered and gave this product a chance sooner. I’m absolutely blown away by the results and you will be too, even my fellow greasy skin gals. -

I’ll admit that I was a bit skeptical of the benefits of this product when I already use a brush-style facial cleanser, but after one use, I cannot deny the radiant glow Finishing Touch Flawless Cleanse leaves behind. It has 4 settings that both cleanse and massage and all of them feel great and make your skin look great too. I love that this cleanser is waterproof and also rechargeable so you don’t need to worry about changing batteries. I like that the cleansing head is silicone so it doesn’t get built up with residue like the brush-style facial cleansers. Overall, this is a great product that will leave your skin looking and feeling flawless. -

I’ve tried every dry shampoo ever invented because I have very fine hair that gets oily quickly. I use it some mornings to skip a wash or just to refresh my hair throughout the day. So many dry shampoo products simply miss the mark. Batiste Naturally Plant Powered Dry Shampoo is not one of those products. Simply put, it works and it works well. It keeps oiliness at bay without making your hair stiff or weighed down and without leaving any residue. It’s easy to apply and it smells amazing. On top of all of that, it’s formulated without parabens, sulfates, or dyes. It contains natural extracts, like green tea and chamomile, and it’s vegan. I love Covergirl mascara and Covergirl’s Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara does not disappoint. The formula and brush are excellent at grabbing and plumping each lash, building volume without getting clumpy. This mascara is one of the best building mascaras I have ever used. You can use one coat to get a light and natural look or you can use multiple coats to really enhance your eyes with insanely voluminous lashes. I went up to 5 coats and even then, the clumping was minimal. This mascara contains a primer, serum, and mascara all in one for the healthiest lashes around. And you can’t go wrong with ingredients like hyaluronic acid and bamboo. I also love that this mascara is Leaping Bunny certified so was not tested on animals. Overall, this is another winning mascara by Covergirl. -

I can't describe how over the moon thrilled my daughter was to see this Bakugan Evolutions set! I know nothing about Bakugan but she was very excited by the characters included. She liked the number of cards included and the battle mat was a great addition. Some of her friends were over when we received it (ages 7 - 9 year old girls) and they immediately opened everything up to play. It's a great exclusive set to add to any Bakugan lovers collection. -

I know it's hard to make a manual toothbrush exciting, but Colgate's Charcoal Floss Tip Bristles Toothbrush has really opened my eyes to how manual toothbrushes are innovating for the better. The bristles are 17 times thinner, meaning they can fit in between your teeth and along your gum-line better for a deeper and more thorough clean. I was surprised that you can actually feel the bristles getting in between your teeth. It's honestly like brushing and flushing all in one. I don't floss as much as I should so this makes me feel better about skipping it sometimes. The bristles are very effective but also soft and gentle on the gums. The brush it self has a nice design and good grip. I can't say enough good things about this manual toothbrush and I would definitely recommend. -

There is much to love about Schmidt's Rose and Vanilla Natural Deodorant Spray. It's made with 99.89% natural ingredients, it's certified vegan, and it's not tested on animals. It's also a spray deodorant that uses ozone-friendly propellant. This was a bit different when applying in that it goes on quite wet and not as aerosol-y as some of the brands I'm used to. It does dry quite quickly though so this wasn't a big deal for me. It also goes on clean and clear and didn't leave any white marks on my skin or clothes. The smell is very strong and it was still noticeably there even after the entire day, but it does smell amazing and I like a lot of scent, so I was happy with that. The product claims to offer 48 hours of protection. I only wore for about 24 hours and it was still working after that long, even after working out. I didn't need to reapply after working out either. As someone who is looking for a more natural, environmentally friendly deodorant that is actually effective, this exceeded my expectations and I think I have a new favourite deodorant product. -
