So I will start off with saying I had never coloured my own hair before using Natural Instincts. I first got the colour 4W, Dark warm brown as per the recommendation of a young lady that worked at the Shoppers I was at. I have helped many friends and family colour their hair so I wasn't too worried about the process. It is pretty easy anyways. The smell was quite potent but I kind of expected that but the burning sensation that followed felt wasn't expected (didn't think that would happen with a demi-perm colour) but it wasn't a super long process so again that wasn't the deciding factor on whether I found the product effective or not. When all was said and done, my boyfriend looked at me and said; wow that's weird your hair is lighter (and the colour indicator appeared to be at least two shades darker than my hair). I read around that other people have experienced this before and that the correction was to just choose a darker shade. I got another package but have yet to try again. I'm giving my hair a break for now. -

Although I reserve the extreme sparkle for New Years and Christmas I had to buy this product! It works so well! The base shadow, even without the extreme glitter is actually really nice on its own and it feels like butter going on. Because I rarely add extreme sparkle to my eyes, I had so much fun playing with this over the last holidays and cannot wait for my next opportunity to use it. It stays really well, which surprised me! Any other time I attempt even a slight glittery look I end up with a disco ball of sparkles all over my face and I don't get that with this product :) -

No matter whether I am in a grocery store, home store or beauty/health store, I always end up in the scented candle section. I love all glade scented anything. The apple cinnamon candle is a staple in our house during autumn and fall. There is no doubt that it smells great. Unfortunately I find that the scent is not as strong and the candle not as lasting as some of my other scented candles (that of course come at higher price tags). In the rooms where my dogs spend most of their time I tend to need to light different candles to freshen up the air. My Glade candles tend to burn out pretty quickly so, although I love the scent, I can't help but go to different options that last longer.
I will continue to buy glade candles because the selection of scents is great. If you really like to burn candles on a daily basis you may want to look into more long lasting ones for that purpose.

I love all of the colours of this line. I got three different colours; lace details (which is a neutral tan colour with a tint of pink in it), exotic (a more burnt sienna colour) and honeymoon (which again was a tan colour but with a more grey/mauve undertone). A lot of the colours are quite similar but when you swatch them you realize that the very slight tonal changes make a difference to how it looks with your complextion. The one I wear to work usually is lace details because it is a very natural colour. It stays on really well and for the entire day. I always accidentally put on my lipstick before breakfast and it lasts perfectly through that. The formula is quite soft on the lips and doesn't dry them out the way that I find many liquid lipsticks do.
I started off with one and kept going back for more because they are my go to liquid lipsticks.. also the price is amazing!

I don't find myself reaching for the shimmer shades at all. It's awesome that the ratio of the shimmer to matte shades is equal but I just don't find the pigment to be that great for the majority of the shadows.
The shimmer shades, I find, are really just for adding sparkle, they are not very pigmented. The matte shades, I tried using for a while but I found them a bit chalky with quite a bit of fall out. I tend to use this palette more for my brows than anything at the moment.
I wanted to love it but it ended up being an average palette.

I love this mascara. It applies with minimal effort so you don't need to put a million coats on and it immediately spreads my lashes and coats them to show the full long lashes. The formula feels really nice on my lashes and I don't find that they clump at all when I use it. I wear this mascara on a daily basis to work because it makes my eyelashes look super long and defined without making them super dramatic.
When I want to go for a night out look I do tend to layer it with a mascara that thickens the lashes more.
I bought the sample size in a set that had a gift card for the full size of one of the products and this is the one I chose. I bring it everywhere I go.
