I received this product free from ChickAdvisor as part of their review panel program. I really loved the length and volume it provided. It was not clumpy in the slightest and was just the right tone. My only complaint is that I find it smudges more easily and I often had black marks under my eyes throughout the day from it. If there were a "sealer" it would have been perfect. -

I received this product as part of the Chick Adviser review panel. I might have loved this product more if it were a better colour. It was bright pink and, as a red-head, it did not go with my skin tone or hair colour. I did like the shiny "laquer" of it, though, and it lasted quite a while with minimal smudging. -

I have to say that I was initially hesitant to try this product. I had this image in my mind of all those "drawn-on" eyebrows and imagined it going on like paint or mascara - dark, clumpy, and obvious.
I was very pleasantly surprised. I have very light eyebrows and eyebrow pencils always look bit odd, but this actually darkened the hairs (just slightly, thankfully) enough to actually see the eyebrow and enhance the arch. It had the added benefit of keeping the stray eyebrow hairs in place for a nicer arch. It didn't look fake at all, but definitely framed my face. It was great.

I received this product as part of the Chickadvisor group and I have to say that there were many things I liked about it:
1. It didn't taste like Baking Soda or chemicals.
2. It wasn't too grainy.
3. It had a fresh taste.
4. It left my teeth feeling clean.
I didn't find that it made my smile any whiter than before, but it maintained the whiteness and felt clean.

I was selected to review Nair Candy Apple Sugar Wax by the Product Review Club.
Now that I have had the opportunity to try it, I must say that was pleasantly surprised. First of all ,this is the best-smelling sugar/ wax product I have tried. I normally use Parissa, which has no scent at all, so the scent was nice. I was also not expecting it to work as well as the Parissa, but it was quite comparable, removing most of the hair easily (once I got the "thickness" right). I rarely had to go over any areas and, though it's not quite as good on the finer or shorter hair, overall it worked well. Finally, I really liked the easy-clean of the product. I hate waxes because of the residue and the never-ending "sticky spots" but this wiped away easily with water and was generally quick and easy. I would definitely use this product again.

I was thrilled when I was chosen to review the Dairy Queen DQ Cakes by ChickAdvisor and couldn't wait to try out an ice cream cake.
We were originally planning to get a traditional ice cream cake for our two-year-old's birthday, but as I looked at the selection on-line, I realized that all of the choices looked amazing and I've always been a Blizzard fan, so we opted for the Blizzard Cake. We were not disappointed (except that we wish we could have had more than one :)
The on-line process was incredibly easy. We just picked out our cake and what we wanted on top and were informed when it was ready for pick-up. The in-store pick-up was simple as well, though it was quite busy in DQ when we picked it up (not necessarily a bad thing). I just used my gift card (from ChickAdvisor) and got it home with no mess.
The cake, itself, was awesome, and because we had the birthday party on a warmer day, it tasted that much better. The ice cream was not too hard and tasted fresh (not freezer-burnt) and yet it did not melt too quickly in the heat. Our son LOVED it and got ice cream everywhere (as all two-year-olds should).
We would definitely purchase another blizzard cake - not just for birthdays and such, but also for summer get-togethers. I really loved the blizzard cake and would need to try it in a few more flavours! I will also recommend DQ cakes to family and friends because they taste great and are so easy to order online. They are a particularly wonderful for summer get-togethers like parties and bbq's.

I typically lie my mouthwash to burn burn burn (so that I know that it's working), but this definitely did NOT do that. I was surprised that it left my mouth feeling clean at all since it was so mild, but it actually did. I still like my mouthwash to be much stronger, though and the effects of this one didn't last for too long, which is good if you're about to drink a glass of OJ, but not great if you want a minty mouth for the morning.

I got a sample of the this from Chick Adviser Review Committee. Overall, I thought the product worked really well. My teeth are smooth, shiny, and film-free for most of the day and it wasn't gritty like many whitening toothpastes. I typically like super-whitening in my tooth-paste and it didn't whiten quite as well as other brands that I've used, but I can't complain. It was good otherwise.

I received this product as part of the Chick Advisor review club and I have to say, I was initially sceptical. I saw that there were tabs on the "pull-ups" and thought that there would be no way those tabs would stay closed. I was wrong. They were great! After convincing my little one to put on his own diaper (the toughest part), he was able to run around and move. As we are in the midst of potty-training, they were perfect for pulling up and down - and the tabs DID NOT open despite the repetitive pulling up-pulling down. The fit was snug (no leaks), yet flexible so my son did not complain that they were too tight. There were no "gaps", which tend to happen with other diapers. I liked the tabs for when I had to change the diaper. It allowed for a much cleaner change. Overall, these were great. -
