I was selected to try the Cover Girl Exhibitionist Cream Lipstick in Sweetheart Blush for free in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions and I enjoyed the product. The cream lipstick is unlike anything I have ever worn before so it took some time getting used to, but I like it. The lipstick is infused with shea butter for lasting moisture and color and comes in 27 beautiful and ranging shades. The sweetheart blush is a cute creamy pink - but beware because I think It can wash out certain skin tones. The product feels soft and smooth on the lips and the color lasts for hours. Be careful though, a little goes a very long way and I think the product looks best applied subtly. -

I was selected to try the Cover Girl Get In Line Liquid Eyeliner for free in exchange for my honest opinion and I was unfortunately not blown away. The only thing that I really enjoyed about this eyeliner is the pigment and the fact that the black is a strong, beautiful matte black. The color really does look amazing and bold, but the application is difficult for several reasons and the smell is incredibly chemically and overpowering. First, the applicator handle is very thin and my fingers wrap too much around it that it is hard to apply. You need to have really steady hands in order for this to work for you. Second, the applicator is incredibly thin (0.1MM feather-fine tip) which makes it SO unbelievably wispy and flimsy. It was near impossible for me to create a straight, even line... let alone a winged eye. Trying to fix errors is also impossible because the color goes on so unevenly. The eye liner stays on all day which is great, however with the way that it looks... I am not sure I want it to. -

I was selected to try the Cover Girl Exhibitionist Mascara for free in exchange for my honest opinion and I LOVE it! The formula is buildable and although I did not see amazing results after one coat, the more applications I did, the more amazing my lashes looked. The pigment is so strong and the look is big, beautiful and BOLD! The mascara did not smudge, clump, or fall off onto my undereye area. The brush spool is a little quirky looking and I wasn't sure how to use it (or if it is even practical) but I mainly used the thick end portion and the results were incredible. I love that you can use this with one or two coats as a daily mascara or that you can add extra layers for a more bold and dramatic look. The product retails for around $9 which is more then fair for this amazing product! -

Breyers Creamery Style Chocolate is simple, but luxurious! The chocolate flavour is perfect and the consistency is creamy and rich. I love that the flavour comes from REAl cocoa and all of the flavours and colors come from natural sources. I love that the cream is fresh and is antibiotic free. These make a great base for a sundae and this flavour is adored by everyone in our family from adults to kids! This product is gluten free as well. The price of the Breyers Creamery Style is a little pricey and can be found anywhere between $5.50 and $7. It is worth the indulgence though! -

Vanilla ice cream is my favourite flavour and finding a natural vanilla that tastes delicious is difficult. Breyers hit the nail on the head with their natural vanilla! The ice cream is made with REAL cream and REAL vanilla beans (you can see the tiny little black specks). The ice cream is creamy and rich and makes the perfect base for a sundae! I love that it is made in Canada and is good for the environment. The vanilla beans are Rainforest Alliance certified and the milk and cream are antibiotic free! This has become a staple in our summer evening routine and is enjoyed by everyone in our family from kids to adults. I can usually find this product anywhere between &5;.50-$7 which can be a little steep as the container isn't that big. This will feed our family about twice. I would like to see the price come down a little, but it is delicious! -

The taste of the hazelnuts was very overbearing. The bar was dry and the chocolate pieces on top fell off every time I took a bite. You also could not hardly taste the raspberries. Very bland for a bar that has so many different flavours. I would not recommend this to anyone. Yuck. -

These unfortunately were not great. They were nice and chewy and the bar filled me up, the taste however was awful. I love peanuts and peanut butter but these were almost too "peanut-y" for me. There was just too much nuts. The chocolate flavouring was barely noticeable and I think I would have rather just ate peanut butter out of a jar. There was nothing special about this bar, even with all of the textures and layers. -

I received a package of these bars as a free sample in exchange for my honest opinion and I absolutely LOVE them! I am not a huge fan of coconut and will usually shy away from coconut flavoured products in exchange for a different flavour... but these have me hooked! I like to have a snack bar in the morning after breakfast to hold me over until lunch and these really did the trick. They come in individual packages with one decent sized biscuit inside. The biscuits are oat and they are so sweet and delicious. They are on the harder side but they complement the creamy coconut filling so well. The coconut filling is oddly enough a little salty. At first it confused my taste buds but it was almost became addicting to me. I love the combination of sweet n salty! My favourite part is that the coconut isn't too overpowering. It is there, but in just the perfect of amounts! A box of 5 retails for around $3 which is probably a fair price. I would be more inclined to purchase on sale though. -

My family and I were chosen to try the CATELLI SMART BOWS for free from Family Rated in exchange for our honest thoughts and opinions and we absolutely loved it! I usually stick to the regular spaghetti or penne noodles when cooking pasta for my family but we loved the fun bow shapes and the addition of fibre! I know whole grain pastas are a healthier alternative but I have had a hard time convincing my family, and myself, to switch from our usual white pasta. These bows helped us get some added nutrition while still tasting great!
I used these bows in lasagna soup and they were a huge hit! It was a neat twist on a family favourite recipe and the addition of fibre made me feel extra good about giving it to my family. The noodles were quick and easy to cook and they came out al dente in a convenient 10 minutes. They taste the exact same as regular white noodles and you wouldn't know that they hid 'good for you ingredients' inside! They contain 32% of your daily fibre intake for every 85g serving - yay! They are also low in sodium and fat, and are cholesterol free... not just your ordinary white noodle!
Overall, these were a huge hit in our family and my family has already re-requested lasagna soup with the funny noodles. We will be purchasing these again and look forward to cooking up other family favourite recipes with the substitution of these delicious, smart noodles.

My family and I were selected to try Catelli Smart Spaghettini from ChickAdvisor for free in exchange for our honest thoughts and opinions and we all devoured our plates! As much as we know that whole grain products are better for us, pasta is one thing that I am having a hard time convincing my family (and myself!) to eat more of. I was excited to hear about this new 'Smart' Catelli pasta that has the addition of fibre for extra goodness!
I made this for supper with my special homemade Bolognese sauce and the results were Family Approved delicious! We all enjoyed the spaghettini noodles as oppose to the regular spaghetti noodles we usually use! They were so easy to make and only took 6 minutes! That's it! They came out perfectly al dente and tasted delicious. No one had any idea they were getting an extra bit of fibre, not that I am sure anyone would have minded anyways! Per an 85g serving, you and your families will be getting 32% of your recommended daily fibre intake.
Overall I would 100% recommend this product to families like mine who enjoy our traditional white pasta but would like the added health benefits such as more fibre in our meals! It is quite pricey for pasta at around $3 a box (not enough to feed our family in one sitting) and would probably be more inclined to purchase this product if it was on sale. I would however recommend this to all of my family and friends and really enjoyed the 'Smart' spin on our families favourite meal!
