I was recently put on a topical cream for my acne called Tactuo (Epiduo in US). I have to be completely honest, that EVERYTHING completely stings my face right now because of this, the only thing that doesn't is Cetaphil moisturizer. With that being said, I told myself I'll try the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep. Well, it stung. A lot. So unfortunately, I was unable to use it going forward. Which was a bummer because the smell was phenomenal (although I would be worried something with that much of a fragrance would break me out). Luckily my mom is always up for testing out new beauty products. Here is her review of it:
My skin always feels softer in the morning after wearing this all night. I have very dry skin and this gives me the hydration I need. Also, I am mid-50s and am looking for a smoothing cream, I found this made my lines appear less. I wore this morning as well and found that my makeup held up longer during the day! Overall, a very nice, luxurious product. The packaging is lovely too.

This mascara is OK - definitely not worth the $29 price tag. However, the reason I don't like using it is it is SO hard to remove. Even with waterproof eye makeup remover, coconut oil, Bioderma...the works, you literally end up pulling your lashes... +

I guess it'd be great if you were swimming all day. It just becomes a pain for me at the end of the day to get this stuff off. Only nice thing about it is the smell...smells like roses. -
Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash
Love this stuff. It smells clean and fresh, not fruity or sweet. It leaves my skin feeling relatively soft, although I do follow up with a lotion when I get out of the shower. Either way, Dove body washes are one of my ultimate faves :)

I had high hopes for this product, considering all the buzz about these sprays on YouTube and beyond, however, I don't see any kind of difference for how long my makeup stays in place. I have LONG days, I put my makeup on around 5:30 am and take it off around 9pm (or later)...by end of day it's usually worn and I definitely need touch ups throughout the day. I also found I had more breakouts when I used this, so sadly, I won't be repurchasing. I think these sprays may be a gimmick. -

I said I recommend it because I have found some cute things there, both casual and for work, but the quality...eeek. Nothing lasts long from there. -

I really like this product. It's light coverage and doesn't really make you look more 'awake' in my opinion, but it's just a nice light concealer that is easily blendable. Honestly on weekends I use this and a bit of powder and I'm good to go. I always see it on sale so I wouldn't pay full price, but I've gone through two of these now, and let me tell you, they last SO long! I like a lot. -

This stuff is terrible! Did I get a bad batch? When I swipe it on my face chunks of it literally fall off onto my clothes, my bathroom counter, etc. It also oxidizes like crazy. Stay away....!

I generally LOVE these. People need to remember that they are not "primers", so you still need a primer first if you really want to get the full effect and lasting power for these. My favourite colours are 'Vintage Selection' and 'Painterly.' The only issue I have and why I didn't rate these perfect is that they always dry out on me. And I always close the lid securely. I always end up having to throw them out when there's about half of the product left because they have dried out completely. Other than that complaint...I love these. When they're fresh and new the consistency is lovely! -
