I received two Colgate oral care products to try through @chickadvisor for free in exchange for my honest review! First up…. Colgate Total Advanced Charcoal Toothpaste. I was a bit hesitant to try this toothpaste because I have used sensodyne for my tooth sensitivity for many years. I was pleasantly surprised to find that after two weeks of using this toothpaste, that I had no sensitivity issues at all. It has a light minty flavour, left my mouth feeling fresh and it’s also sugar free. It gave my mouth that squeaky clean feeling that you get after visiting the dentist. Bonus points for being responsibly made, gluten free, and vegan. Colgate Total Advanced Charcoal Toothpaste for the win! @Colgate @chickadvisor

I received the #garniershampoobar Garnier Whole Blends Argan & Camellias Nourishing Shampoo Bar for free from @chickadvisor to review. Upon opening the package, I felt that the scent was a bit overwhelming for my preference. But once I got in the shower, I didn’t notice that the scent lingered too much in my hair once it was rinsed. This shampoo bar lathers really well - - much better than I was expecting as a first time shampoo bar user. It left my hair feeling clean, and easily manageable. I’ve use it for 2 weeks and haven’t noticed any changes as far as the health of my hair goes. But I like the idea of a shampoo bar, I like that it’s zero waste, and eco friendly. The price point is also fantastic, and such a small amount of the product is needed per use that it should last 2 months (or even more). Definitely a great option for those people who are trying to be more environmentally friendly, those tight on shower storage space, and great for travelling as well.

I received a sachet of COVERGIRL clean and fresh weightless water cream to sample from Chickadvisor. Upon opening the package, I noticed a light and fresh scent. This cream is very thin, went on smoothly, and I only needed a little bit to cover my entire face. I have dry, sensitive skin, and this moisturizer (made with cactus water) was not only hydrating for my skin, but didn’t irritate it at all. I used this before I went to bed, so I cannot speak to the primer aspect of it. All in all, I’d recommend giving it a try for an affordable facial moisturizer option!

I was actually quite surprised that this foaming hand wash has been so great. I prefer foaming hand washes over the traditional liquid kind, but find that they normally dry out my already sensitive skin. Dial clean + gentle foaming hand wash does not leave my skin feeling dry at all. It is totally fragrance free which is perfect for scent free environments and it doesn't contain any of the added junk that other brands have. I'd definitely recommend giving this soap a try with all the covid hand washing we're doing these days. My skin was cracking and bleeding from all of the excessive hand washing I've done over the last few months using other brands and I've been pleasantly surprised to see that my hands are feeling much better by making the switch to this hand wash at my kitchen sink. -
