I received this #freeproduct from @thisisbutterly in exchange for my honest review. I really wanted to love this product, but as someone who wears a minimal amount of makeup I don't feel the need to use a pre cleansing oil in addition to my regular cleansing routine. It did have a pleasant scent and left my dry skin with a nice glow after using it though. A little product goes a long way, so I could see the large bottle lasting quite a long time making the price point seem more reasonable. The nourishing oils are definitely a plus for anyone who suffers from dry, dull skin. -

I received this #freeproduct from @thisisbutterly in exchange for my honest review. Overall I liked this simply ageless @covergirl mascara. It added length and definition to my lashes, but I did not like the chunky applicator wand-I found it difficult to get in the corners of my lashes for an even application. I do love that it's a cruelty free product, and that it's infused with a bamboo serum to help plump lashes over time. Overall I'd give it an 8/10.

I was given a bottle of this Garnier Skin Naturals Vitamin C face serum for free in exchange for my honest review from @butterfly (@chickadvisor). This serum is a gel like consistency, that goes on easily. I did break out after a few days of using this- but after a few more days of daily use, my skin adjusted nicely. It left my skin feeling smooth and soft. It is lightly scented, which could be a plus or negative depending on your preferences. I found using it once a day before bed was what is working best with my skin. If you are looking for a product that helps brighten your skin, and give you a nice youthful glow then give this serum a try!

It is alcohol free and doesn’t leave that burning sensation that other brands do. It also has added calcium to help weakened enamel stay strong, and repair daily damage to teeth. I received two Colgate oral care products to try through @chickadvisor for free in exchange for my honest review! First up…. Colgate Total Advanced Charcoal Toothpaste. I was a bit hesitant to try this toothpaste because I have used sensodyne for my tooth sensitivity for many years. I was pleasantly surprised to find that after two weeks of using this toothpaste, that I had no sensitivity issues at all. It has a light minty flavour, left my mouth feeling fresh and it’s also sugar free. It gave my mouth that squeaky clean feeling that you get after visiting the dentist. Bonus points for being responsibly made, gluten free, and vegan. Colgate Total Advanced Charcoal Toothpaste for the win! @Colgate @chickadvisor

I received the #garniershampoobar Garnier Whole Blends Argan & Camellias Nourishing Shampoo Bar for free from @chickadvisor to review. Upon opening the package, I felt that the scent was a bit overwhelming for my preference. But once I got in the shower, I didn’t notice that the scent lingered too much in my hair once it was rinsed. This shampoo bar lathers really well - - much better than I was expecting as a first time shampoo bar user. It left my hair feeling clean, and easily manageable. I’ve use it for 2 weeks and haven’t noticed any changes as far as the health of my hair goes. But I like the idea of a shampoo bar, I like that it’s zero waste, and eco friendly. The price point is also fantastic, and such a small amount of the product is needed per use that it should last 2 months (or even more). Definitely a great option for those people who are trying to be more environmentally friendly, those tight on shower storage space, and great for travelling as well.
