I really love this new Maybelline better than the previous one which is the Matte. It stays on forever and the colour is popping and beautiful. The one drawback is that it can get very sticky and stick to anything that it transfers such as cups or food. It can feel tacky. I am a fan of glossy lips texture and it’s definitely not over the top in my opinion. I highly recommend shaking it before usage. I love the formula and the bold look. -

After a 40km bike ride from the previous day, I was suffering a lot of leg and back pain. I highly recommend this to anyone who suffers joint/ muscle pain. I enjoyed the scent but it doesn’t linger long after a bath. It dissolved quickly and feels great in a warm bath. This is one of the most refreshing ones I have. Brands that are cheaper doesn’t dissolve as easily in the water. It helps to clear your head and relax your muscles. You don’t need to use much at all to gain that effect. Afterwards, it leaves your skin feeling soft. My skin did not irritate after use. No need to worry for those with sensitive skin! -

This is a perfect alternative to use after a long, stressful day. It helps you relax with a soothing warm bath. The scent is subtle, however it is not very strong. It is ideal for those who have body aches all over. The bath allows you to come out refreshed. I was hoping for the bubbles to be more plentiful. It can take a while for the product to create that lovely bubble bath that you are looking for. It does not foam as much. I was looking for something more foamy and it takes a lot to get it to work. It is definitely above standard bubble bath besides the foam. The bubbles do last more than 10 minutes which I love! Overall, I feel that it helps to unwind. -

When I’m on the lookout for a new product, I normally test it out my hand first before anything to feel how it will be on my face. Here are my first impression. It has a flora perfume scent and super lightweight and absorbing. I can see that the scent can be overpowering for some people. My skin absorbed this product immediately after application and left it silky smooth. You will find that it will absorb very fast. I love how hydrating the serum is! I did not break out as I have acne prone skin. I do break out on a regular basis. After multiple uses, my skin looks brighter and has less pores. I highly recommend adding it to your daily routine every morning and evening before you add your moisturizer on. I use 3-4 drops each use. The glass bottle that the serum comes in is super cute. Overall, you get a smooth and natural looking glow. I have oily skin sometimes dry and it doesn’t leave an oil after use on your skin. -

Overall, it was easy to apply and wash out. The packaging of the product looked confusing at first especially with the skin allergy tester samples that was provided. I had some trouble trying to break the tab on top where you need to break it off and squeeze out the hair colouring. When squeezing the product of the bottle, I found it difficult to know whether you have fully used the product or is there more to squeeze out. The product itself isn’t see-through. Therefore, you need to figure out how much you left of it. After five minutes of trying to get it out, I had to cut the product and obtain the rest of the product stuck inside of it. My partner really loved the hair dye. All I had to do is twist cap, shake and dispense. All in all, it smells really good and makes your hair soft. -

I used this version of the toothpaste for the first time. It is gentle on my mouth. Since this is an all-in-one toothpaste, it suits most of my needs, including tooth sensitivity, whitening, freshens breath, and takes care of cavity, plaque, gingivitis and enamel. One thing I’ve notice that it isn’t as abrasive as other toothpaste which provides that gentle feeling. This formula is exceptional. After using it twice a day, it provides with immediate positive effects. It keeps your breath fresh longer than any other formula. This toothpaste offers an exhilarating clean without becoming overwhelming with any other flavours especially the minty flavour. Overall, it doesn’t aggravate my sensitive teeth and gums. Colgate is a household brand that a lot of people places their trust in. And, this should. -

When I discovered that this bar came in a sustainable and little packaging box, I loved the idea. I don’t normally go out of my way to find out about green and recyclable products. It made sense that brands should be more conscious about wasteful packaging. I adore that Garnier thought of way to get this across. The whole blends oat delicacy softening shampoo bar is 94% plant-based and it comes out as a tear drop shape. It’s dye-free with rice cream and responsibly sourced milk. It feels solid in your hands and lathers up well in my hand while taking a shower. I wet my hair and apply to the roots of my hair and worked it outwards. My hair is fine and thin. I used more water to help lather it up. When I use bottled shampoo, I don’t end up doing that. After drying and combing my hair, it was soft and delicate. I would definitely use this for a short vacation as it is travel friendly and super easy to pack up. The smell of the oat can be strong. It definitely does not weigh my hair down which is a big bonus in my books. -

I had an amazing opportunity to try the Thai Garlic Chili flavour of Purgrains with real simple, non-GMO ingredients. This plant-based side dish is made with nutritious and delicious ancient grains with globally inspired flavours. There are two other available flavours: Aztec Chiptole Flavour and Santorini Lemon Flavour. Therefore, I pan fried the grains and it is very quick to make. To add various sides, I chose to make steamed (overcooked) broccoli and lemon pepper oven baked yellow tuna along with a side of freshly cut red peppers. I was very interested in finding how these grains blended with the other sides. I did think the grains tasted more tomato paste and quite sour that overpowered the rest of the flavours. Aside from that, it tasted okay with only 400 calories per package surprisingly. It is high in fibre and iron. They did add in cane sugar into the packaging. I was a bit surprised. The packaging is flashy and beautiful. If it was on the store shelf, it would definitely capture my attention and want to buy in order to try it. My partner did say, he enjoyed Seeds of Change over this brand. I definitely think it was okay (not bad and not great). -

It has a pleasant texture. I love the individual tablets that are wrapped separately. That way, you can have only one and not have to rewrap the rest of the chocolate package. It's super yummy and melts in your mouth. -
