When I discovered that this bar came in a sustainable and little packaging box, I loved the idea. I don’t normally go out of my way to find out about green and recyclable products. It made sense that brands should be more conscious about wasteful packaging. I adore that Garnier thought of way to get this across. The whole blends oat delicacy softening shampoo bar is 94% plant-based and it comes out as a tear drop shape. It’s dye-free with rice cream and responsibly sourced milk. It feels solid in your hands and lathers up well in my hand while taking a shower. I wet my hair and apply to the roots of my hair and worked it outwards. My hair is fine and thin. I used more water to help lather it up. When I use bottled shampoo, I don’t end up doing that. After drying and combing my hair, it was soft and delicate. I would definitely use this for a short vacation as it is travel friendly and super easy to pack up. The smell of the oat can be strong. It definitely does not weigh my hair down which is a big bonus in my books. -

I had an amazing opportunity to try the Thai Garlic Chili flavour of Purgrains with real simple, non-GMO ingredients. This plant-based side dish is made with nutritious and delicious ancient grains with globally inspired flavours. There are two other available flavours: Aztec Chiptole Flavour and Santorini Lemon Flavour. Therefore, I pan fried the grains and it is very quick to make. To add various sides, I chose to make steamed (overcooked) broccoli and lemon pepper oven baked yellow tuna along with a side of freshly cut red peppers. I was very interested in finding how these grains blended with the other sides. I did think the grains tasted more tomato paste and quite sour that overpowered the rest of the flavours. Aside from that, it tasted okay with only 400 calories per package surprisingly. It is high in fibre and iron. They did add in cane sugar into the packaging. I was a bit surprised. The packaging is flashy and beautiful. If it was on the store shelf, it would definitely capture my attention and want to buy in order to try it. My partner did say, he enjoyed Seeds of Change over this brand. I definitely think it was okay (not bad and not great). -

It has a pleasant texture. I love the individual tablets that are wrapped separately. That way, you can have only one and not have to rewrap the rest of the chocolate package. It's super yummy and melts in your mouth. -

High quality and excellent rubber boots! I use these for my muddy winter hikes. My boots are glossy and deep red. They go up to my knees and keep me protected from potential mud splashes. It navigates me through muddy patches when en route to a waterfall nearby. I started using them late last year. I brought them five years ago and never opened them. They were hidden underneath my bed. I originally brought them for the hype and brand name. Later, I found that I did not have a use for them. Lately, I have started hiking in the winter which involves a lot of water, mud, and ice. I find these have a decent grip on the bottom of the boot. I highly recommend these over regular hiking boots for muddy trails! -

What takes away from this is, once you are near the end of the bottle, it is difficult to squeeze for more. If you do end up squeezing some, it comes out in parts. I recommend to place this product in a better container where it is easy to obtain all the product to the fullest. Other than the container, I would say, this body wash is good, not great. -

It’s more sweet than sour and the flavour is amazing! I prefer this over the original. It quenches your thirst on a hot summer day and a great alternative to orange juice. The packaging is appealing and very simple to make this into a pitcher.

Most people have upper lip hair, sometimes noticeable and sometimes not. For me personally, I have dark blonde hair and after a week of not shaving, I have dark hairs popping up like whiskers by the corners of my mouth. The odd times I’ll have a chin hair that grew out of nowhere. Instead of waxing, I use a facial razor to effectively capture all the hairs in one direction. Waxing irritates my sensitive skin and makes that area red for a long period of time. I also use it to remove peach fuzz which builds up on the side of my face quite a bit. I notice, if I shave once a week, it tends to be long enough not to be noticeable. I believe my PCOS contributes to this but I don’t know. I love the pump feature whereas other body wash where you have to use your hands to squeeze the bottle, this one is super easy to use right after opening it. I prefer the pump over regular bottles. In one pump, it provides an ample amount of body wash for usage on the skin. Not often do you come across a product that actually does what it claims. It doesn’t irritate my skin and leaves the skin moisturized. Due to my sensitive skin, I have to be conscious as to what products I can utilize in my daily routine. -
