OMG! I absolutely love this brush. This is the first expensive brush I've purchased. The bristles are so soft, but stiff enough for foundation. It blends foundation perfectly and in some cases allows me to use less foundation than with my beauty sponge. Also because I have dry skin, some brushes make my skin drier or flakier when blending which is part of the reason I don't tend to use brushes all that much but this brush does not do that. Absolutely worth the money! -

Where do I begin with this item, OMG I am in love with this Vitamin C product from The Ordinary. I've been using this for a few months now and I am blown away by how well it works, and how much it's changed my skin for the better. 1st of all lets talk price, you cannot beat the price on this, it has to be one of the most affordable product on the Market at only $7CDN you can't go wrong. Now lets talk about consistency, it is pretty think in texture and you don't need a huge amount, a little bit more than a dime sized amount can cover the whole face, I will say that it doesn't smell the best at all and it takes a bit getting used to the smell of it but for me it doesn't bother me to much anymore.
It does sting a bit, for me personally it isn't that bad and it only lasts for less than 30 seconds, if you have some breakouts i will sting a bit more than if you didn't. The 30ml last quite awhile, for me using it almost every night, the tube lasts me for a couple months.
Now the effectiveness, holy cow, this stuff works. I have two hyper pigmentation sun spots on my upper lip that were very noticeable even under foundation, within a few weeks of using this stuff regularly, the sun spots i noticed had started to diminish, now having been using it for a few months, I notice a HUGE difference, the sun spots have almost disappeared and I also notice a difference in the dryness of my skin, it has helped my skin staying hydrated and not becoming an oily mess throughout the day. I highly highly recommend this product, especially if you are just starting out with Vitamin C.

This was another deluxe sample that I received in my monthly Ipsy subscription, I really do like this mud mask, it has a very earthy scent to it, it is think in consistency as is typical with a mud mask. This mask goes a long way, you don't need a ton of it, it doesn't burn my skin and the best part about this mask that I love is that you only have to keep it on for 2 mins, unlike some masks where you have to keep them on for 10 or 15 mins. It dries down completely on the face after 2 mins, and the wash off is very easy also, comes off clean and makes my face feel very clean. I like to use this mask when I have some breakouts so i can make sure all my pores are clear. The only reason I didn't give it 5/5 is the price, it is a pretty pricey face mask, at $40CDN, I don't think I would spend that on a mask, however it would most likely last a very long time but that's a personal decision. -

I received a sample of this in last months Ipsys bag, and I am so glad I got it, I have been enjoying it so much. I am a big fan of Tarte products and this one doesn't disappoint either. I've been using it for about a month now, it has a very nice light coconut scent, not overpowering by any means and I don't think it would irritate skin, the consistency is on the thinner side however a little bit does go a long way. What I really love is the hydrating factors of it, it makes my skin feel so hydrated and soft, creates a nice base for my foundation and keeps my foundation in place all day. Price is pretty standard for most of Tarte products, and since you don't need a lot, it will last a long time, my little deluxe sample has lasted me a month and i've been using it pretty much every day. If you love Tarte products, I would highly recommend trying this primer out. -

I wanted to try these products out for awhile, so when I saw the gift set on sale during boxing day for a super discount, I grabbed it and man am I glad I grabbed it. This body wash is AMAZING, I have super dry skin in the winter so trying to keep it hydrated is an uphill battle, this body wash is so luxurious and creamy, it smells heavenly as well. It is on the more expensive side of the body wash for the drug store, in Canada it's approx $9 depending on where you buy it and sometimes goes on sale for around $7 so definitely not cheap but I can honestly say this bottle will last a long time. I stated using it I believe at the beginning of January and i'm just getting to the half way point in the bottle and trust me I am not stingy when it comes to how much I use, so it definitely will last a long time which is impressive. It does foam really well no matter how little or how much you use, it moisturizes your skin really well but doesn't leave any type of oily feeling on your skin which I love. This is for sure my new body wash and the fact that it's made of good ingredients, it's not tested on animals and it's organic, you really can't ask for anything more. -

Wow! This has quickly become a new favorite of mine, I can't believe how cheap this is for the great value you get. For under $6CDN you get the smaller size 30ml tube but even the bigger one 50ml is only $10CDN. This moisturizer has been great for my skin especially since it's winter and my skin is very dry. When you first squeeze the cream out of the tube, it looks like it will be very thick but one you start to rub it into your face, you will quickly see that it isn't as thick as it looks, you also don't need a lot of it, as it spreads really nicely. This biggest benefit for me is the hydration it gives my skin, my skin is nice and moisturized and it lasts all day unlike some ones that dis-appears throughout the day. I absolutely commend giving this a try! -

This is the first The Ordinary product that I've ever tried and I picked this particular one due to its hydrating properties and to help with redness etc. I've tried a few face oils in the past, I have to say that for the money that this costs, it is well worth it, I don't think you can find a better value, you don't need a lot of this oil as it goes a pretty long way, I would caution about using to much of it as it may make your face to oily. It sinks into the skin really nicely and doesn't leave a real oily feeling to your face. When I use this at night, my face does feel moisturized and even when I get up in the morning it still feels hydrated. I think I can see a bit of a difference in the redness that it helps reduce however the hydration is the biggest factor for me. I would definitely recommend giving this a try. -

Another of Laneige's products that doesn't really work for me as well as it works for a lot of other people, however this one works better than the lip sleeping mask I have tired. I got the trial size of this from Sephora to see if it was good, you get a good amount in the trial size to figure out if you like it or not. The texture of the mask isn't overly thick, it does have a bit of a scent but it isn't over powering or anything. It spreads well and does provide moisture to your face. I just don't see a difference when using this, I don't find that my face is any more moisturized than before but I will continue using the trial size until it's finished. -

This lip masking for me was disappointing, I really wanted to love it especially with all the great reviews however it does not work for me. I m glad I only purchased the trial size from Sephora because for some reason when I use this my lips get very irritated and the just start to peel like I've never seen them do before and I know it is this specific product because when I stop using it, the problem goes away and immediately comes back when I start using it again. I do have eczema and very sensitive lips so I do have to be careful with what I use on them, I assume something in this formula just doesn't mix well with my lips. When I did use it in addition to the peeling, I didn't find it very moisturizing at all, it kind of dried out my lips even more although I did like the scent of it, it wasn't over powering. Obviously this works for a lot of people however if you have very sensitive lips or skin, I would maybe purchase the trial size first to see how you will react to it. -

This was the first higher end foundation I've tried, usually I still with drugstore foundations, it is a bit expensive at $25CDN for only .84fl oz which is less than the standard 1 fl. oz most other brands offer. To start this is extremely thick foundation but it is not full coverage, you can build it up a bit however I find the more you apply the more cakey it becomes. It doesn't have any type of scent so good for people that are sensitive to fragrances etc. I also found that it was a bit more difficult to blend out than other foundations, overall this is not a foundation for me, it doesn't lat for the 10hours, looks very cakey throughout the day especially with powder over today and just doesn't look great. I think there are much better foundations out there to try. -
