These mini travel tweezers are fantastic! Tiny but mighty, I purchased mine at Winners beauty section. Very good price. Tweezerman products come with free resharpening (although the cost to ship is on you!) but since the products are a bit pricier than most tweezers, this could be a good option. The slanted tweezers, which I have, are very good to pull hair out effectively, so matter how small or fine. -

The Body Shop's Shea Butter Exfoliating Sugar Body Scrub is amazing. I saw a review in a popular magazine saying that it was great for dry skin on your heels. So I visited our local Body Shop and purchased a jar. The very first application left my heels so soft, I was truly amazed. I use it three times a week, applied while in the shower and have much smoother heels and feet. Also will soften other parts of your body (elbows, knees) Highly recommend you treat yourself to this product. -

Being a canner of jams and jellies, Certo Pectin is my go-to brand. If you follow the directions, you will have success in all your canning options. Be sure to buy fresh and watch for the expiry date on boxes of pectin to ensure proper set. The liquid pectin (2 pouches) is also my favourite as it doesn't need to dissolve with the hot jam mixture. Certo pectins also come in a low sugar option. -

Switched my dog, Jesse to this Costco brand after hearing good things about the brand. The large bag lasts him a few months. Kibble is small and he really enjoys every meal. Never picky with it like he has been with other larger kibbled food. The only issue is that sometimes I have a hard time finding in our local Costco. I wondered if there was a shortage of salmon product causing the shortage, but it seems to be just a popular variety. I have learned recently to order at Costco online and with free shipping, the bags are delivering directly to our door. This is very helpful because there's a long wait to get into Costco with pandemic protocol and only to find there's none on the shelves. -

We enjoyed these two apple blossoms with caramel from President's Choice line. A light dessert option for two people especially after a big Thanksgiving Dinner. Easily prepared in a regular oven for 15 mins or in a microwave. Be careful in the microwave as the blossoms open flat if cooked too long! Would recommend cooking in regular oven. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a delicious treat! -

There are a dozen Yorkshire Puddings in a bag for $3.99 which is a pretty good value. They go from freezer into an oven for 4 mins and they are ready to meet the gravy! The Earth Rated Compostable Poop bags for dog waste are great. I have used these ever since our region allowed green bin depositing of dog waste. The new green coloured bags are a bit thicker than the previous white bags this company produced. Keep in mind also DO NOT buy in bulk. Over time the bags will start to disintegrate. I usually buy a package of 60 bags, obtained at most pet stores (Ren's or Global) for under $7. -

When we adopted Jesse he came with a phobia of fireworks. Didn't realize this until Canada Day when the poor boy was trying to find a hiding place behind the couch or get in the smallest of places to shelter. Before the next fireworks holiday, I bought him a Thundershirt. The difference was remarkable. He was still a bit wary of the noise but with lots of calm talking to him, he laid on the bed beside me and wasn't frightened. You do have to put on the Thundershirt well in advance of the fireworks. This is difficult to do with thunderstorms but if you know the weather will be bad, it wouldn't hurt to put it on. -
