I grew up with furbys and all the variations of such critters...and when all that died down, now i see hatchimals! we have always gotten a kick out of the commercials. So when I was sent one to review, I stepped up and checked it out.
I have children and grandchildren, who all love these toys, but the one who really lit up was my mother, who has alzheimers. Seeing her and my son who has autism, interacting with this toy, engaging...made me light up. These toys are not for the wee small children but it is for all ages otherwise...and i do mean all ages, since my mother is 76!
This is a great product, good for mental stimulation, hands on play, engaging activity...it is well worth the price (far better than furbys) lol

This product seemed to be high quality by the packaging that contained it. The scent was pleasant not overpowering. The lotion was absorbed completely, it is non greasy and it felt pleasant and soothing/cooling. The only problem, is that it is supposed to prevent or diminish the signs of aging...the tiny lines that many of us suffer from. Well even tho it had all the other great qualities, it did absolutely nothing at all for the fine lines. so I cant rate this as a high quality product, it doesnt stand up to its claims. -

Our son was having his first portrait day at school. Bad thing was, his hair was awful....it was getting longish and shaggy. Definitely not what I wanted for his school portrait. Being as we were busy running other errands, we had gone into this one strip mall. And that turned out to be a blessing. We found this little, out of the way barber shop that offered hairstyles for $7. I was a bit hesitant...that seemed to cheap to be any good, but we thought we would take the chance. So we walked in, the place was virtually empty. There were three barbers, only one of which was working on someone. They were all very nice and friendly, and they had our son sit up in a booster seat on the big barber chair. He did everything the barber told him to do, how to hold his head etc. I couldnt believe how much hair they took off his head! But he looked awesome! Best haircut he had ever gotten. The barber he had was faster than any I had seen before! The barber was very friendly, courteous, and really knew what he was doing. Everyone has been complimenting him...cant wait to see the portraits! -

When I first moved to southern California a few years back, my bf refused to eat sushi...said sushi was "bait". Well, the times they are a changin! I turned him on to this great little place in a tiny strip mall in El Cajon. They have a huge variety of Sushi to choose from and its all made fresh while you wait. The prices are outstanding...you get large quantities of sushi for a very small price. And they pride themselves on making every piece look good. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the prices are wonderful, and the atmosphere is quiet and homey. I took my bf there and got him to try some of the different varieties of sushi...Told him not all sushi is "raw fish" so it aint bait lol. He loves sushi now, and is always eager to try something he hasnt tried before...and this place made that possible! -

But the place that I have found exactly what I was looking for was at Payless Shoe Source. The boots range anywhere from $19 on up! Depends on what you want, and the look you want. Do you want ankle boots? Calf length boots or knee length boots? They have them and everything in between. I found a great pair of zip side, black, short boots...they look like the biker style, great heel, and fit great. Hard to find the right size? They can probably help you there, they have narrow, wide and everything in between as well. Chunky heels, stilettos, etc...they have them all, and at great prices. Lots of great compliments on these boots too!

My family and I had been busy all day, with Jr in school and Phillip and I working on the car and cleaning up around the house, we hadnt stopped very long to eat. I had gotten some coupons for KFC/AW in the mail, and figured it was a great excuse to go use them. We proceeded to pick Jr up after school and we headed down the road to our local KFC/AW. The coupon was for free "Papa burgers" with the purchase of a large drink. We get there and it isn't too busy, its pretty early in the afternoon around 2:15pm. There was three people working behind the counter. There were 3 people in line (counting us). The young lady that was working the register, seemed nice enough, but input the order wrong to start out with...She had double charged us, and didnt even catch the mistake till we came back up and told her to recheck the order...She did, and realized what had happened...she got the manager who fixed the problem, and gave us back the difference in what the error was....but that wasnt the end of the ordeal...we got our drinks and went over to sit down at a booth. We watched people come and go...for nearly a half hour, we finally got the cashier's attention, who couldnt believe we were still waiting. As it turns out, when they corrected our order, it somehow managed to kick our order out of the system and it never got processed. So we told them our order again...it took them another 15 minutes! We finally got our food, it was hurredly slapped together, it was sloppy, the cheese wasnt melted, nor were the burgers even hot. There was no one at the counter at that time, so there was no excuse to make such an awful product. Needless to say, we won't go back to that store again.

I have always been a fan of tattoos and piercing...already have 7 tatts to my name and 5 piercings in each ear, etc. Most places are ok to get tatts, not the greatest...many arent that clean, and look like dives, but I found one that is fantastic!... +

Skin FX is a great shop...its clean/sterile, the people are great, very attentive, friendly, cooperative and willing to do their best to give you your best tatts and your best tattoo experience! They have lots of options for designs, including the willingness to do your own designs. If you pick a design out of their flash books, they can give you ideas and suggestions on how to make it look even better. And they give you great aftercare instructions, salves, etc as well. Rob runs a tight ship, and thats what makes it work...he knows what hes doing, and hes damned good at it!! -
