My husband likes to dye his hair at home. He has a busy work schedule so he does it himself. I know from the different boxes that’s he tried several and they all have one thing in common, messy and drippy. He usually needs help from myself or my daughter to do the back of the head and clean up the areas around his forehead, ears, and neck so they don’t get dyed too.
This one twist hair colour is a game changer. He just twisted it, shook it and combed it through his hair. It really is mess free, no drips or dyed skin. After five minutes he washed it out and it looked very natural. His hair felt so soft after and I didn’t notice a strong smell. He tried medium brown which is pretty close to his hair colour from younger years.
This is definitely something he could do on his own without any help from me. And the biggest bonus is that I don’t have a big mess to clean up in the bathroom after. He likes how natural looking it is and plans on buying it again next time.

I had my son three years ago and developed melasma which did not go away after my pregnancy. So now I have dark spots and uneven skin tone which I would love to get rid of.
I’ve been trying Peace Out dark spots serum. It has kojic acid, alpha-arbutrin and concentrated AHAs to help reduce dark spots and brighten skin tone.
During my time trying this, I definitely noticed my skin was brighter all over my face. That’s what I loved most about this serum. I didn’t find it drying although I am used to using similar products as a part of my daily skincare routine. I made sure I put on a good facial SPF moisturizer while using this. I haven’t noticed a change in my dark spots yet, some of these products take a little while to make a difference as my melasma is so severe. It does seem gentle on the skin and I’ve seen some benefits so I’m going to give it a some more time as I’ve only been using for a short period.

I’ve tried quite a few aluminum free deodorants. Most of them leave a sticky or almost wet sensation on my skin even if I’m not sweating. What I love about the @dove Care by Plants aluminum free deodorant is the formula. When I’m wearing it I don’t feel wet, its like other dove antiperspirants that just feel great on the skin. The difference with this deodorant is that it’s Dove’s first natural origin plant-based deodorant. It’s also paraben and cruelty free.
I received the sandalwood deodorant. It’s a little strong at first and over time I grew used to the scent. Even though the deodorant works well, I don’t think the sandalwood scent is for me. I definitely want to try out the other scents to find a better fit. I’m not sure about the 24 hour protection claim as I like to apply deodorant more often than that out of habit.
This is definitely one of the better aluminum free deodorants and it being plant-based makes it the best.

I already use Honey Treasures shampoo and conditioner so I was very impressed that Garnier has made a shampoo bar with the same great smell and sustainably sourced honey, but with zero plastic waste! Using it was super simple, it lathered up really good and rinsed out easily. My hair was super clean and it didn’t feel dry but I would definitely use the Honey Treasures conditioner along with it to make it easier to style while my hair is wet. I noticed there was sulphates in the shampoo bar compared to the shampoo in the bottle. It’s not a deal breaker for me because I love that it’s majority plant-based and cruelty free. It’s also supposed to last up to 48 washes which makes a good value as well as eco conscious choice. I am definitely going to try out the other shampoo bar that is sulphate free as well. -
