Schick Quattro Razor for Women
I think I have just found my new favourite razor. The four blades really do make a difference! I am thinking of chucking away my Venus one. With Schick Quattro I get such a smooth, close shave... and no nicks! It's the best one I've used so far!

These eye shadows are amazing. I went to the MAC on Queen St W and I found the service there to be quite awesome. I was afraid that I was walking into a store with pushy sales people, but I was wrong. The MAC artist was very helpful in helping me choose colours without pressuring me to buy anything that I was unsure about.
I did not realize how intense the colours were until I tried them at home! A little really does go a long way! It lasted all day with no crease marks or smudging, something that is really annoying if your skin gets oily throughout the day.
Yes they are expensive, at $16 each! But I think I will follow misschickie's advice and buy them separately with the case. I can see how that could make it all more portable and handy too. Great advice!

I have been to this one and the Bloor St. location. The "Fresh" chain is one of my most favourite vegetarian restaurants. I haven't been to the Crawford location yet, but I'm sure it's also good. Although the interior is not as fancy as the Bloor one, I prefer Spadina sometimes more often because it is way less busy. Love the food! It can be expensive depending on what "add-ons" you put in your order. I always love coming here. Sometimes I find mysef craving Fresh... hahaha. Highly recommended. -

I really like how this sunscreen is not greasy at all. I put it on and it disappears into my skin almost like a moisturizer. It is great for people who hate the greasyness of regular sunscreen. I can put this one on my face, and be confident that it won't make me break out or look like an oil slick!
The only thing I do not like is the smell. It definitely has a presence. I went into work one day, and the first thing that my co-worker said to me was that "I can smell your sunscreen." Although the smell is strong the "dry touch" factor and the high SPF makes it worth it for me.

This moisturizer works amazingly well for sensitive, dry skin. My skin is more the normal type, but even still I like to keep it soft by using a good lotion year round. I love how it has absolutely no fragrance. It goes on smoothly and locks the moisture in after a shower. I bought it for $11.95 CDN (about the same cost as Aveeno) and I think it is totally worth it. I think these two (Cetaphil and Aveeno) are my top picks for moisturizers. Definitely recommended! -

I bought this brush the other day when purchasing eye shadows. The brush is of amazing quality and works very well, the shadow colours blend together seamlessly without any crease lines or weird marks. The ferrules are also extremely soft and plentiful. As a painter myself, I know the importance of using quality brushes, and they can greatly impact the end result!
I still can't beleive that I paid that much for a make up brush! I was in Sephora the other day, and I saw that they sell similiar brushes in style and quality - only cheaper. Next time I think I will try a brush from Sephora instead!

If you ever have had a blemish eruption on your face and need quick treatment, Wild Sage's clear skin stick is a great product. It's completely organic, smells fresh and lovely, and works quite well. My biggest issue with skin treatments with regular sacylicic acid and benzoyl peroxide is that although they are quite effective, they totally dry out your skin and make it peel off. The natural extracts of witch hazel, Echinacea and calendula (full list of ingredients can be found on apothena or wild sage website) make it effective for toning down angry blemishes but at the same time, not drying our your skin. For $6 US I think it's totally worth it. -

What I really loved about this DVD is that Doctor Workout is extremely motivating. You feel like he is there with you throughout the entire workout. There are plenty of water breaks between sets so that you are always able to keep up and stay hydrated. Another thing I really like was how Doctor Workout carefully explains each exercise, ensuring that the user does the proper technique. Once you know each exercise, the explanations can be skipped to go straight ahead to the workout.
One thing I found that was most motivating was Doctor Workout's words "There is no excuse to not workout!" because common household items are used, such as a broom, paint cans, and soup cans. I found this to be quite creative! The only thing that you have to get yourself is a stability ball for the Stability Ball Workout. It is excellent workout too,as it really forces you to engage your core muscles with each exercise.
Each circuit goes by fairly quickly. I believe that they are each about 20-25 minutes long, perfect for those who are really busy and can squeeze in a quick workout. If you are more advanced, you will have to repeat the circuit 2 or 3 times. Many times I did the circuits 3 times, and they left me quite fatigued at the end!
In addition to the Ball and Full Body Workout, there is the Ab Circuit. Before I had never worked my abs in a circuit style before. My abdominal muscles were quite sore for a few days after!
This DVD is much better than many of the other ones I have tried. You have my recommendation!

I can see why the Almond Face Cleanser is such a popular choice, because it is a great cleanser. But I have to say that it is not my favourite because it doesn't work wonders for oily skin. One thing I do love however is the fact that it is an organic product, and that it leaves the skin on your face very soft. I actually did not mind the smell at all, but it does take a little getting used to.
When you apply the product on your skin, you're supposed to leave it on for about 5 minutes. Many of us don't have the time anymore, but it really does make a difference. I find that when I leave it on my skin longer, and then rinse it off my skin feels very smooth. The product does run out quicky from the jar! But I have oily/blemish prone skin, and I think I need a cleanser with more fighting power. If you are past that stage, then I highly reccommend it!

I decided to give this mascara a try after I chucked out my old one. I have to say that it is a good everyday mascara, but I find that it doesn't do that much for me. I didn't find that it gave me that much more length or fullness that it claims to do. One thing that I didn't like was I found that it really does smudge easily. I'm sure that applying a little powder under the eyes could fix this.
On a better note, it feels very light and non irritating. I am a contact lens wearer, and this one I definitely would use when I wear them. By contrast, because it doesn't lengthen them that much, I find that I will have no problem with it getting on my glasses lens either! I also like how my lashes stay soft, giving more of a natural look. It comes at a reasonable price as well. Fairly effective, but I still prefer Maybelline Great Lash!
