LARABARS are 100% all natural, vegan, kosher, raw energy bars. They are made with ingredients such as nuts, dried fruits and spices.
I love these energy bars for a quick snack or pick-me-up in the afternoon. They portable and healthy. Each are around 200 calories each. I also like how they are full of healthy fats including Omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids.
My only issue with these energy bars (like many) is some of them taste great and some of them really not so great. The "raw" factor may not be appealing to everyone. I know plenty of people who would totally be turned off by these just by looking at the bar -- it doesn't always look the most tasty; and we eat with our eyes first!
I still love how I can have a nutritious snack throughout the day to beat the afternoon hunger and fatigue. They are an awesome alternative to chips or other unhealthy snacks!

Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer

It is highly pigmented, you only need a very tiny bit. Because I have been used to using cheaper concealers, I used waay too much the first time. I soon learned - a little bit goes a long way.
It has a creamy consistency, one that works well for under eye circles and blemishes. For use for the under eye, I warm it first on my hand so that it will "melt" better on my skin under my eyes. For pimples, I use a concealer brush.
It doesn't dry out my skin at all and I can build up the coverage if I want to. I must say, it was quite expensive ($36 CDN) but so worth. You only need a little bit each time and it lasts all day. It's also oil free so for those ladies with an oilier skin type like me, you don't have it worry about it running off your face at the end of the day.
I'm addicted to MUFE.

This is the best foundation I have ever used. I was going to go for the Make Up For Ever Mat Foundation, but the cosmetician said this one would give me a more natural, dewy finish.
It makes my skin glow and hides pimples and uneven skin tone quite well. I would say that it gives medium coverage, however you can build it if you would like a full cover look. Works best with a foundation brush!
What I love about this foundation is that you only need a little bit. I find that one pump is enough for my entire face. It's oil free (I have an oily skin type). All I need is a little powder to set it on top, and I'm good to go for the whole day.
If you are one of those ladies who is afraid to take the foundation plunge for fear of looking like you're wearing a mask, this is a really good one for you. It looks totally natural.
They have many shades to suit your skin type. I suggest that you ask a cosmetician to foundation match you with the right shade.
I'm now hooked on Make Up For Ever foundations and face products!

I was quite impressed. It's such a cute little boutique, with tons of make-up and beauty lines to choose from. I would also describe it as... very pink. They carry many brands of cosmetics and skin care products that I had never seen before. The staff are very nice and professional, they kept on offering to help even though we were "just browsing".
They also have a nail and hair salon within the store. It is upstairs on the second floor.
If I lived in Victoria, this would definitely be a place where I would get my beauty products!

I have never used a whitening kit from a dentist before. In fact, this is my first time using any form of teeth whitening product.
This product can temporarily make your smile brighter. After I had used 2 of the strips (on the top half of my smile) one of my friends had commented that I had really white teeth :)
What I cannot stand is the taste! It's just gross. They do dissolve yes -- but not completely. You will probably need to brush the rest off with your toothbrush. And rinse. Rinse many times. And very well at that!
The idea of swallowing bleach in my stomach does alarm me a little. It can't be too healthy, but nonetheless I try to spit out most of the "bits" in the sink. And don't forget to rinse. Again.
Not sure if I would buy this product again. I might try other whitening products first. Just remember: your teeth are not suppose to be any whiter than the whites of your eyes.. so don't go too crazy on the bleach!

I don't think I would buy this colour for myself because I find that it doesn't suit me and makes me look older than my age. I think I would prefer to go for a brighter, red lipstick instead.
I don't usually wear lipstick, but if I were to purchase one I would keep Maybelline in mind. And probably in a different colour.

Ziggy's at Home

The store is very cluttered. I do not recommended walking in with a big bag or a backpack. Be careful not to knock a few things over.
Ziggy's is also a great place to find gifts. The items are unique and high end. Also a nice place to shop if you have just purchased your new home.
Staff are very helpful and nice. They take the time in helping you find the right thing, whether it's a new chair for your home or a present for your best friend.
I will be back here again.

I really enjoyed coming here for the Shop Crawl #4. I found the College St. location to be far less cluttered with less merchandise. It made it easier to go through the racks of clothing and was not as overwhelming.
The clothes here are really trendy and pretty. With all the prettiness however, there comes the price tag. And it's quite steep!
One thing that I do not like at all is their refund policy. Everything was final sale that night. I don't think that any store in Canada should have a no refund policy, they should always allow you to get your money back. Money back guarantee is one of the things that keeps shoppers coming back! *There is a reason why Wal-mart has millions of loyal customers... !
Nonetheless, it's a really cute store. A must visit :)

I never have been a huge fan of AA, though I have many friends and family members that absolutely love this store. The clothes are more expensive because they are suppose to be produced manufactured in LA.
What I do like about AA is the range of colours in which you can find clothes. I cannot say that they are exactly the most "fashion-forward" but they are more or less more vintage, casual and comfortable. Lots of tights -- it is a great place to get them! And in many different colours.
I think AA was one of the stand out stores at the Shop Crawl, in a sense where the clothes are unusual to what we find in most Shop Crawl stores. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed going to AA that night to show the diversity of different stores we go to, and to prove that the definition of style comes from a wide range of unique places.
With that being said, I think I may come back here one day for an AA hoodie. I heard that they're really comfortable :)

This is definitely a store that I will return to in the future if I am looking for a gift for someone!
