My first piece of advice is to buy this product at Shoppers Drug Mart. When it goes on sale, it is really worth it. I got the largest size for $3.99, and this stuff seems like it will last forever.
I bought this particular one because I was intrigued by the sound of the scent. When I tried this, I really liked it, but I think it might be too strong to put on for when I go to work. I mostly put it on right before I go to bed. It does make my skin smooth, but it also makes it feel sticky. I'm not sure if I am imagining it because it smells sticky (if that makes sense..?) but for me, it takes a couple of minutes to get used to it/let it sink into my skin.
I think I will stick with the lighter smelling lotions, just because I find it a little overpowering at times.

This was really hard for me to find! All three of the stores near my house either only sold the cake ones, or only the chocolate cake one. Finally, I found them in a Metro store.
When I opened the box, I was kind of disappointed about how small it was. I let it thaw a little, and when I tried eating it, it was like whipping cream with a little bit of oreo chunks in it. I was kind of expecting something more solid, but I guess that is what I get for leaving it out too long. Don't get me wrong, it was still good. But for the price, I am not sure if I will be purchasing this again.

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. I wasn't expecting this movie to have any humorous parts in it, but it made me laugh a couple of times. I also liked how this movie included parts from the original Grimms' Fairy Tales in it.
Although I don't think of it as a movie that I will watch over and over again, it was quite entertaining.

I found this recipe hard to follow. Maybe because I was tired, but I was confused around the part where it says to mix the egg yolks with the "hot liquid". I honestly thought they wanted me to boil water and mix it in. I actually started boiling the water until I reread the recipe a couple of times. Also, when it says cook it "until it coats the spoon", I had absolutely no idea what that meant. While I was mixing it, I kept asking myself "is it coating the spoon now??"
But when I finally figured everything out, and let it rest, the lemon curd topping looked great! The only changes I made to this recipe was I used bottled lemon concentrate (only 1/4 cup) and I used untoasted, sweetened coconut.
Since I thought that this cake is pretty dry in the first place, the addition of this lemon topping made it perfect. A little too sweet for my liking (maybe because I added less lemon than the recipe suggests), but good nonetheless. I think that any extra lemon curd can be used for other purposes. I will try it tomorrow on my crepes, because I think it will taste amazing.

But the flavor is quite nice: a subtle hint of vanilla. Perfect along with a cup of tea or coffee. I also tried it with the recipe for the Vanilla Lemon Coconut Cake, and I think that really adds a lot to this cake. Makes up for it being a little bit dry. -

This is one of the better cartoons! Although it is sad that most cartoons nowadays aren't "musicals" (except for Frozen), there are still some good songs that I associate with this movie. Although it is not a movie that my mom would let me watch if I was younger (she is very strict, and didn't let me watch any movie that had the word "stupid" in it) I really love it now. People of all ages will love this movie: there are jokes that only adults would understand, and jokes that kids love (like having an arrow in a butt.) I even watched this with my ESL class, and they thought it was funny, and understood most of it. -

This used to be one of my most watched movies in my house when I was a kid. It was great, because as a kid, I could bond with my dad, talking about where we were scared in the movie, because it is one of the only movies that he watched as a kid. The songs are also classic: I used to make it a habit of singing "whistle while you work" while doing the dishes. I hope this movie never gets redone. -
